I've been seeing on here people thinking they removed the option to renounce your vassalage to a king if you asked for a city but wasn't awarded it. I have had the option ONCE over 400 ingame days played. I was a vassel to the Swadians but single handedly took Yalen while at war with them and requested that I recieve it but didn't. I used to get paid by the king when he wouldn't give me the land I wanted (900d). But that always happened for castles until a day or two ago and only when I took a city (Yalen) did I get the option to renounce my oath and keep my land.
