Rename savegame

Hey guys,

During the game i changed my characters name and I was just wondering if there was a way to change the name when you load the file because it stayed the same as my old name. It's not really that important, it's just that it has sort of been bugging me.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think the save file will have the name of the character it first started with... For example if your character calls "ABC" in the start and you decide to change it into "XYZ", the save game will remember "ABC"...?

You can use the save as function to save the game under a new name. Unless you use autosave.

EDIT: Hmmm, it appears I started on "realistic, no saving without quitting", so I don't get the option to save as. Would there be a way to edit the save file or something or change it to allow saving without quitting?

It doesn't matter if the save name is different than the character name unless your trying to organize your saves.

I guess there is as the information has to be included in the save file - its just that I've never seen anyone telling how it's done, sorry.
