My name is Rodolfo, and i still have the 0.901 version of the game.
DO you know if there is any mod, compatible with my version (Since my internet speed is awful) featuring XVI century men-at-arms, with plumes or crests n their armets or close helmets, and the featuring pleated skirts over the Maximilian armour?

Just to let you know this is the wrong place for this topic. However I'll kill two birds with one stone and tell that calradia at wars last release was 9.01. However I'd advise you to upgrade to 9.03 as the patch doesn't take so long.

The problem is that i use the telephone wire modem, and it cost me lot. No problem, i´ll download any accelerator and try again.

If your internet is slow, downloading a mod is probably going to take much more time than updating to a new version.

nop, there is no such mod for 0.903.
if you are interested in arquebus/sabre mod, try mesoamerica, but it's only for 0.808
if you want to play muskets/redcoats try Liberty or Death, it's for 0.903, but it's not completely ported.

but the 17th/18th centuries are an area of interest for me, and i'll probably set out to make one after 1.0 comes out, and C: 1914 is complete.

Well, when you do download the tiny .903 patch, the mod that you're looking for is the Eagle and the Radiant Cross.

If your having trouble with downloads cutting out (which is what used to happen to me), just download the torrent patch upgrade. That way you won't have to worry about going off line stopping your download.

well I've been making a renaissance mod since .808 when my computer was too ancient to even use brfedit
real modding started around 894 when I got a new laptop and made much progress though there's still a while to go

well I got a plumed helmet. Note that I did not start this from scratch, but edited a basic helmet from a chinese forum. It still needs to be textured



I did want a maximillian armour but I can't find a high def photo of one,
I made a gothic texture though



I might get some ingame shots of pikemen tomorrow(loading in 903 is way too slow....)

I'm going to announce this mod only when I get close to finishing so that people don't wait around and then just forget about it
...and unfortunately it's currently halted due to the lack of a MODULE SYSTEM(!!!!!!!!!! )
will get right back on progress once modulesystem for 951(or whatever next version is) is released



ps  It's great to see that someone is interested in renaissance warfare!!! (w00000t!!!!)
might be finished in a few weeks after module system is released if things go as planned
