I will give a try someday but maybe as I want a minor thing to be changed : female faces. Of posted images women looks pretty but with Corprus female faces will be gorgeous(I not know if fit with your tastes)
 
I have played a few hours with it for now, I must say I am really impressed by this mod. Great work zedpaolo !

A few things if I may comment :
- had at least 1 crash per hour of play, which is quite a lot; but maybe this is the result of using the mod on a 1.173 warband ?
- maybe you should think about integrating Diplomacy mod into yours, I think it would really add some depth in the campaign
 
This looks like a Warband mod I've been waiting for, definitely will be checking it out.

EDIT: Tried it, loving it so far.

Question, is there some trick to recruiting arquebusiers and alike from towns? Playing for Hungary, their only city offers me Pikemen every time I try to recruit there.

The player recruits 2nd level troops in towns until he get the option to change the faction's culture (so until he is king). Then selecting for example the same culture, he will recruit first level. Since for hungary arquebusiers should be one of the two second level options, you can not directly recruit them until you are able to select your country's culture... it was not meant that ... but so it is :smile:

Whoosh, that sucks, I can really feel the lack of them on the battlefield. We're getting our butts handed to us, so there's always prisoners to choose from, at least. In my game Hungary was carved into pieces and devoured by Ottomans and Germans, we're left with two castles and a city now and Ottomans are in for round two. Trying my best, but I'm afraid I'll have to bail and return to being hired sword.

Really fun mod so far, it's interesting how almost everyone being a tank but rarely anyone having a shield changes balance on the battlefield. My only gripe is item pricing, especially with crossbows, new, shiny ones cost over eight thousands and are actually worse than much cheaper Native stuff.

That is true! I did not notice it, native crossbows should have lower attributes... you can change it by yourself anyway:
1)open the "item_kinds1".txt file in the Renaissance folder
2)search for this: "itm_heavy_crossbow "
3)change this lines (exactly)

Obviously Hungarian lords have their arquebusiers in their armies. About the player... well, that was the era of mercenaries and there are good mercenary arquebusiers around there (search for them in the italian states).

Some countries are difficult to play with (eg. Hungary, Papal State, Milano, Savoia) but that is part of the fun..
 
Hungarians are pretty sturdy, just outnumbered right now. As I said, I'll do my best. If we end up losing, I'll go mercenary and, hey, maybe eventually I'll restore the kingdom under my banner. That should be fun.
 
I love the mod so far. I was waiting for a setting like this for quite a while, especially because I always wanted to play as a Landsknecht.
Guess I will collect money and then start my own mercenary Landsknecht Army (only Landsknechts, Kaiserguards and Arkebusiers) and offering my services to the HRE and casually sack Rome. What a life!
Too bad that there isn't a bigger opportunity focus on being just a mercenary in M&B. You just run out of options after a while, but anyway I will do it.

Does Final Version really mean "final"? You won't work anymore on the mod? That'd be too bad. I think it has so much potential for more but of course making a mod like this is a time consuming hell, so it's understandable. Still, consider keeping up the great work.

About the Landsknecht: I am really impressed by the details on them. You sure did your research.
 
Yes it is Final version, meaning that no update will be released anymore.
I believe the mod expressed the potential it had to express...obviously there is something that can be improved... but it would always be like this.

A new mod about the peloponnesian war is in progress
 
This mod is absolutely amazing and on top of that amazingly stable!

I've played it for 25+ hours in the past two weeks and there's only one minor bug I've noticed...
One of sabers used by Ottoman Sipahi seems to be turned on the wrong side. :wink:

It must have passed through my many checks... since I had changed animations to let flags look like falling down while hold horizontal (as in the reality it should be) it turns upside down also the swords (without letting you notice it because swords are usualy straight).

Here I write the txt code to correct it (changing sabers with straight swords):

In the troops.txt file in the Renaissance main folder find these troops (find every block of script individually and change it one by one):

Is there a way to get/buy a Flamberge somehow? Certain units have them but I've never managed to get one as loot and I've never seen them in any market.
Would like to give one to a companion.
