Removing blood from textures

Firstly I apologise if I have posted this in the wrong place......

I have been playing mount and blade and its various mods over the last few weeks, its a great great game and I like the blood as it is...

However, I recently downloaded the star wars mod, which is fantastic. The only thing keeping me from enjoying it fully isn that my green lightsaber very quickly turns red with blood! It just loses it effect of being a lightsaber.

So, can I remove the blood texture from weapons? I know about the blood modifier and dont think thats the problem here.

Any help would be great, so i can get on and enjoy this mod!

Try:
disable blood under configure--> game---> hide blood.

From the main menu, were you start the game and can select the module.

You could also go to the in-game menu, and change the amount of blood that stays. (On, Near Player and Off)

I thought I was going to have to edit some code, I didnt think to look in the game menu!

Well, if you keep the blood on you can turn from a Jedi Knight to a Sith Lord in one battle.
