The 1.9.0 cloth bits on the glaive interfere with aiming of bows at anything beyond point blank range because the aim recticle is now always hovering over the cloth, not what you are trying to aim at. This happens in both first and third person. Easy solution would be to add the pre-1.9.0 glaive back with the same stats as the current one so players can choose to use either one based on cosmetic preference.
