What exacly does relationship change in the game?

Lord and villagerelationship I know but there are some other kinds of it:

Town relationship (better prices?)
King (distribibution of fiefs?)
Tavernkeeper(What the f**?)^^
Caravan(But i think I have confused it with fraction relationship)

Iam mostly interested in the use of Tavernkeeper and town relationship and would like to know what advantage it brings. Also the Lord relationship seems to me very limited.

By the way, I am currently looking for the stats of all army types. Once I have found it but now I can not find it though I have looked for it a while. Would be nice if someone has the link

Relationship with tavernkeeper might lower the cost to buy everyone a drink and/or give you more info when asking for quests in the area. Just some guesses.
Town relationships gives you better buy/sell prices.

There are a few other factions you can get relationship bonuses to, Manhunters (I'm guessing they'll start assisting you in battles if they're nearby and you have high enough relationship, or it's irrelevant) and Commoners (caravans, can't imagine it doing anything).

the King works similarly to lords,  but also it effects distribution of feifs-  although I dont think it has a huge effect,  every little helps though.

It seems that town relationship also affects the amount and quality of troops you can recruit if you own the city. As for villages, a good relationship also increases the amount of recruits you can get from there.

As for fief distribution, it is really strange. In one particular game I had good relations with the king (even though I had a low renown, and did not fight may battles), and he kept giving me fiefs even when no other lord supported me, and even when there were a certain consensus about wich other lord should get it. In other game, however, I had great renown, fought wars almost alone, but never was granted past the first castle ...

Town mercenary availability is completely independent of relationships - 3 to 8 of them will always spawn in any given town.
I've changed the increase to relationship to be with the city, not the tavernkeeper, since that actually affects the game slightly - cheaper goods and such. Relationship with the commoner faction is also pointless, since they'll never help you out in battles against bandits and such, while lords with high relationships will usually do so if they're nearby and chasing the bandit at the same time.
