Ok, i just thought that maybe it'd be nice if there was a button/menu somewhere that would tell you your relations with all the different factions. in other words the positive/negative number your party stands with the swadians/vaegirs, bandits, caravans, etc.

Also(not a suggestion) i was wondering if there is any way to increase your status with a merchant faction if you're already in the negatives with them, i.e. i was a vaegir, so i went down with swadian merchants, than i switched to swadian, and they still all run away from me and i cant help them in battle

Another nice addition would be that once you gain fame in a certain army, the other army would petition you to join them, for a certain amount of money or something

Think of them as a 'Trade Federation' and not a part of the kingdom.

For paragraph 1 and 3, I totally agree.

Some additions:
-To be real friends with bandits. Befriend with them, recruit them and command them into war as cannon fodders

Paragraph 3's idea would be abusable-- it would basically just make it so that you have to join the vaegirs first, then get the bribe and join the others (or vise versa) at the beginning of every game, since it would be a free thousand+ denars...

Perhaps if you lost your army when you switched?

However, that would still bring problems (lose a battle: switch sides), and I'm not sure the idea's so great that it's worth putting in.  If you want to switch sides, you can go talk to the King.

One thing I _would_ like to see is, once you've reached the higher ranks, a couple of raiding parties sent out to try and take you prisoner.  If they succeed, your fanction could ransom you back, but bump you down a rank.  But possibly that's better suited to mods, or a later version.
