The pack is ready for the first beta release. I have got it working with 7.10, though it hasn't had much testing so make sure to backup anything it replaces. To install, just extract it into your Mount and Blade directory (.brfs go in commonres, .dds in textures and .txt in modules/renaissance, in case the rar isn't working properly).

For more info, here is the original Work in Progress thread:

Here's the download link:

Here's an alternate link at the file repository if the first one isn't working:

Here's the stuff in the mod and some of the stuff that will be added soon.

If you want to try the weapons out fast there are money and experience cheats in the main M&B discussion forum.

I know
Nice work!
I remapped the flamberge to use the weapons1.dds and it looks really good.
I almost tink itis too long (but it probably is the right size)so later today I am going to find some comparison pics...I know it is a long sword, but it dwarfs even the warsword.

He has it hosted on my site as well. As the other link is down for some reason, here it is on my site:

Have tried most of the two-handed melee weapons & they are excellent especially the Ornate Halberd. The only problem i see with them is they are hard to see in the inventory slots & no arbalests

Excuse me but how do you install these weapons? I'm new to installing these specific files, and any of your helps will be appericated.

Heh yeah, would that it be so easy..... Because its just a bunch of files i tried to put it in the textures folder, but i dont get anything anyway...

The one on the mod repository was just the obj and texture files as a modders resource. I'll put the files needed to play up too now.

The shields thing is a bug - before .710 shields had no speed attribute and the default is 0. Since I hadn't recompiled the mod completely, only made the quick fix to get it working with .710 the shields were all given 0. As for flamberges/halberds from horseback, I deliberately made it impossible. They were historically infantry only weapons and I think giving infantry special weapons like that helps the infantry/cavalry balance.

Heh i made it possible to swing flamberge from horse back with the editor and it rocks!!!

I know its not fair, but i couldnt resist! hehehe
