how come the game always says "Reinforcements have arrived" and "new enemies have arrived"?
they're blatantly not there (most of the time).

oh, and do Marnid & Borcha ever get any money to pay for the stuff i give them?

1) Already noted and is ackknoledged and it does that for some reason so just ignore it. I do.
2) You pay them a weekly wage jsut like your other ment but you then take their money away when they buy your equipment.

oh, on the party screen it doesn't mention Borcha's wages (don't have Marnid yet).
i'm annoyed (again) cos he can never afford what i give him, and even tho they might be my hand-me-downs, its all good equipment, you dig? and then he expects me to pay him top dollar when i want it back! the cheek!

Actually you aren't paying Borcha and Marnid, they get their share of the loot. I'm not entirely sure though, but in Mag-7 there was no 'you have payed your dumbasses this much of your hard earned cash. Sucks, eh?'-text.

Marnid & Borcha are fantastic couple! Once in combat I was reading the usual "Swadian peasant killed by River Pilot" when the next line suddenly was "Marnid knocked unconscious by Borcha"
