It comes a "Reinforcements have arrived" and "new enemies have arrived" message sometimes, but they don't show up. I had one enemy left, and I was sitting on the horseback and searching the whole area, but I didnt see either new enemies or reinforcements of my own. Why does the game tell me there is new men on the field then?!?

use search option... and this is not a bug..
its that not all your units appear on battle when you start it, thers like a limit of units on battle so they appear after one died or just a bit later...
same for enemy

I'm not certain you read what he said. Occasionally the game tells you reinforcements have arrived but nothing spawns. I've gone onto the field with one guy (only guy in my forces), watched him die and then get a 'Reinforcements have arrived" message.

Same has happened to me as well. Say, i have a 5-people band of river raiders. They all appear, we start fighting, in the middle i get "reinforcement arrived" message. When i first saw it i thought some manhunters came to help since i had been hanging alone. Noone arrived anyway. And a lot times i see enemies arrived message but noone spawns. I thought it had some other meaning and tried to discover it:p But it seems its kind of a bug?

It seems to happen in every battle.

I suspect that the game searches for a specific trigger before spawning the next wave (it looks like it depends on the amount of enemyfriendly forces remaining). Once the trigger is reached then the message displays, whether or not there are troops spawned.
You even get the re-enforcements arrived message while solo.

Made a brand new character in the latest version and its still the same. I get the reinforcement message even if im alone and even if 3 out of 3 enemies are on the field i get the enemies arrived message.. Paranoid:p

I get it every battle, in fact, I am so used to it that It's now part of the background to me. And I have NEVER had any other group join a battle I'm in, (so that's the thanks I get for saving those manhunter's behinds, three times!) They just stroll right past.

The message also appears to have strange timing. I watched a group of about 8 sea raiders spawn in front of me. Enemy arrival message appears after I watch the new group advance for about two seconds. Gave me time to headshot a couple though.
