Jerusalem.

No disrespect intended!
Mmk just making sure because I actually live in jerusalem, and the reason to you not getting 1 fief or another is :
1. It depends on if you take it or not
2. (The biggest part) Controversy, when you get a reward from the ruler of the faction like getting to be marshal or a new fief your controversy goes up, past around 30 I think you wont get any other fiefs.
3. Renown and relations, the amount of fiefs you can have total is dependent on your renown with 300 renown you might get a castle but never a town no matter what the relations with your liege and other lords however if you have 400 you might be able to convince them to give it to you if you have low controversy and high relations.
Hope this helped.

Ok cool, I will check my contraversy out and see if I can massage it from my saved game to keep both fifes.

In your experience once you have a large settlement like Jerusalem how long do the manors take to switch to your faction? As right now I can't rise armies at all, therefor cannot secede from the crusader states with any hope of victory which is pretty damn frustrating.

Guys, whole Manor feature rocks. One thing troubles me, I built it in village of Rositte and the manor didn't spawn. In village managment menu, it says that one improvement is built (Manor) and I have options like mill, school etc... and one new option, since I built the manor and it's name is Manor Fortification (eng skill is 4 and it costs like 40-45K denars and takes 26 days to build)

Any thoughts?

EDIT: solved! manor was just too far from village, so I couldn't see it.
I have one question though: I built grain farm. Is farm's NPC in manor itself or should I look for him outside somewhere near houses of villagers? I couldn't find him or farm anywhere- (I want to find him, to set taxes of farm from gold to goods)

the common setting for manor enterprises (regional manor) is paying tribute in gold.
before you can find a manor building in your manor it have to be build. means, you arrange the build up and a few days or weeks later it will be ready and you can find it in the manor scenery. for the central europe manors the grain farm is right side of the path you find when leaving the manor in the scene. The farmer is in the barn (he plays hide and seek with you  ) and he appears only at day.
Your seneschal tells you what buildings you have and what building projects are in process.

just built an manor at Kokenhausen and it never spawned, any thoughts?

EDIT: Found it, it seems some manors spawn quite far out from the fief! lol

I have problem.... in my manor is population 22 and 8 prosperity... and that is for month~ :C i buy all build and i say only "villager" npc... e.g i looking priest on the monastery and i don't see him  Who can help?

after I've made Scriptorium the option to invite Crusader Orders disappeared forever, no matter how much gold I am carrying, just thought u might want to know

Hi, three questions:

1) What is the benefit of the "improve houses" option when you talk to seneschal on the regional manor? (it costs 3000 denars)

2) My castle´s garrison is managed by the commoners, they raised the garrison up to 279 and stoped recruiting. All the castles of the realm have that garrison number, but I would like mine te be more numerous, How can I make them continue with the recruiting without disbanding the lances?

3) I builded a fortified manor and the castle attached to the village has appeared. But, despite what i´ve read, the castle works the same the others, i cant manage the garrison without taking it away from the commoners. Besides, a replicated character of me appeared along with a "local idiot party" of 114 arox. that never leaves the castle. How can I fix that bug? Garrison management of this kind of castle is really different from the others or no?

Thanks in advance, the mod is great!

Regards!

1) There are a couple of "improve houses " upgrades that allow your manor to arrive at a max of 1049 population.
2) If you want more garrison in your castle you have to take over the management . It won't cost you relation penalty as it happens with cities .
3) This castle works as any other normal one . The local idiots party is fantomatic ... you never meet them there is only the script . Your replica isn't there to find either. I don't know how to fix it , I just ignore them because they don't cause you any nuisance in gameplay ... maybe Dr Tomas will fix them before the final release....

Thanks, I´ve missunderstood the "you can garrison troops in it"... I believe fortifying a manor house is a great option if you only own a village, cause it gives you a castle. But I´ve already had a castle so now I own two, one infront of the other, ja. Thanks for your answers!

hi, I built in my manor everything.....but in storage there is nothing...it's almost a month, I don't know why...probably for the low prosperity? or I have to wait a little more to have goods?

It's bugged and you wont receive tribute in goods at all to the castle storage. I recommend you go ask the producers to pay you in cash instead.

    fu... I lost a lot of money! tribute in gold is not so economical

nothing.....the producer don't pay tribute in gold.....if you say them to pay in gold nothing appens, they just say that pay tribute in goods....anyone has the same problem?

If I disband my manor army I'd expect the population and prosperity to return back to normal (or at least proportional to how many men I have left from the original marshalled army). It doesn't seem to be the case, is anyone else expecting this behavior?

I have difficulty in understanding it...why the prosperity wouldn't recover if you send back people to their fields and workshops ? If you have more hands to do the work, the situation should improve, right ?

It's mainly to prevent abusion. As well as making the gathering of the manor army a more important decision.
