Purpose of this thread
As an avid follower of the ancient art of 1 vs. 1 regimental linebattles, I often find it difficult to find a match for my regiment on those slow days when we're just sitting around being bored. In a previous clan gaming community I was involved in, the only way to find scrimmages was through a particular forum board where clan leaders posted, advertising their battle and the battle terms. I personally found it to be a good system and would like to see if it takes off here.
I realize that this may be part of the "NW Regimental Leaders" Steam group but I feel like that is a bit limited, and I know regimental leaders don't check there too often when seeking out a battle. Either that or it's just me that isn't succesful with it.
Anyhow, this is here to give regiment leaders a dedicated place, where all other regiment leaders, be they NA or EU, to be able to search for small scale linebattles to engage in, what I hope, can be friendly linebattles to test overall regimental skill.
To be clear, I am not here to set any rules, force any rules, or scold anyone on the events in the linebattles themselves. This thread is to just be used as an area to find these battles, and for no other reason. Sort out your own rules and any conflicts that may arise yourselves!!!

I've prepared a format and process for you regimental leaders to use when seeking out your battles on this thread.
1. Scan the currently open battles. Fill out this format if you can not find a suitable battle already posted.
Regiment Name:

Battle type (Infantry, skirmisher, cavalry):
Predicted number of soldiers:
Date/Time(Can be listed as ASAP):

Side Notes (Firing rules, other various engagement rules you would like in your battle):

2. If any listed linebattle suits you, please quote said post, and just add a message saying "Accepted" Then contact the other regimental leader through the forum or steam.
3. This is important to avoid confusion! I ask you follow step 2 by quoting and posting "Accepted" and I ask the original linebattle poster to edit their thread to say "Already Accepted" Once they are contacted or replied to at the top of their post in a noticeable script. This is so some other poor sucker won't try and contact you for a battle that is already in the process of happening... Likewise if a battle is canceled by either side, edit your posts appropriately so that viewers can realize your battle is open once more.

I realize the chance of this thread to become pointless and fail is just as likely as the chance of it to take off and be succesful. However to help me make it succesful, I ask that you do not post criticism, be it friendly or negative, or advice, on this thread.
