Reformat Hardrive=lose serial key?

Hey guys,  I have played mount&blade for about a year or more and I liked it enough to buy it.  I bought it BEFORE it was released in stores and it was still in beta.  I got the full version when it came out and then i reached the problem: I had to reformat my hardrive.  I reinstalled mount&blade and used my serial key but it didnt work!  I tried manual and regular but it didnt work.  If it helps im running vista.

Are you sure you're typing the right things in? EG: O instead of 0. I instead of 1.

I have re-installed my System with formating the HD yesterday. The game, installed on an other drive, lost its serial. But my old serial workes again. (I startet at 0.80 But I still us the same XP-version.

If it's your second re-install in 60 days then it's locked up. You need to...

... each time you reformat, re-install, etc. If you don't have your key handy you can get it by going there. Enter the e-mail you used to buy the game and it should give you your key. If it requires a valid working e-mail, just send a tech support e-mail with the new address (and old one) and include your invoice number.

That way you'll never need it. I don't recall if it saves to your computer. But if you ever need to re-install that's the way to do it. Then, KEEP the e-mail that you get so you wont ever lose it.

If you have the keys and they're not working, then it is likely that they're locked. Use the above link and retrieve the key (ensuring that it is correct) and if it still will not work, use that link to contact the support via e-mail. They will get you another key or work around.

I do not have any 1s, Is, Os, or 0s in my serial and i tried that link.  I forgot the email i used sadly and i dont know if ill remember anytime soon.  I may have used a disposable email account.  Any other suggestions?

You should log your serial keys so when you need them you can use them.

You should email support and provide your key to them then they can prove if its real or not, but other than that it seems like a lie in my opinion.

Your CD key doesnt work anymore, that makes no sense, i have been playing for years with the same key and ive had to reformat, defrag, reinstall countless times and its fine. Also you need the email and it just so happens you 'think it was a disposable email'. It seems all too coincidental and convenient all this has happened

Sorry if you are telling the truth, its just people will do it as they are too cheap to pay for games and dont want to pay the developers what they deserve. The developers have made such a brilliant and fantastically addictive game yet some people don't want to pay. But sorry if you are genuine.

My thought would be to email support... There is a slim chance they could track your IP to see if it has been used on their game in the full version but i doubt it because it isnt online, yet.

But yeah, just explain your problem, but your gonna need evidence
