Reforged Edition Released!

Hi everyone!

As many of you have seen, Reforged Edition has now been released. The Brytenwalda team has been working really hard on this one and I'm so proud to be a part of what I see as a great way to reward you all as players for your patience and loyalty.

I'd just like to say thank you to everyone who tested and provided us with feedback on this. The release seems to be going smoothly and there's just so much new content to get stuck into that I'm really excited to see everyone's reaction.

That trailer is pretty bad and doesn't highlight the more important features of Reforged. You know there are fans that could have made a good trailer for you right?

I'm a little tipsy right now and can't seem to find the thread that had the breakdown of what savegame was compatible with what version above v1.04...  I started my last game in the Beta so is that savegame still fully compatible with the full release?

What is it with these banners homboyz? I was really looking forward to playing this over the weekend but my favorite banners are screwed up!

Also the off center placement of shield designs looks odd and reminds me of the cars in the hood

 

Please if there is a hot fix for RE please revert back to the center placed shield design in particular the white banner with the black raven and the banner that is bugged above.

Thank you for the report. Please keep in mind we have a support forum and a issues thread here

We will check that banner. There are some now that have the symbol not centered by design, black Raven included.

You can replace your banner by using the Cheat Menu ingame until we fix the yellow/red Raven banner.

Well thanks for your help, but the off center black raven on white banner looks terrible. Both of the raven banners are ruined by design now.

as anything that is a matter of taste/opinion , thank you for the feedback

(I happen to like it more than when it was centered and half the symbol hidden away -> personal opinion, I have nothing to do with the design)

Huh, that is really strange... I was very sure every banner is okay - sorry! Will check this right after breakfast
By the way - there is still a centered raven available as banner. As there are some symbols available more than one time,
there should be different positionings for these duplicates.

The notes say save compatible but some new features need a new game.  That's fine, I'll probably start new anyways, but I'm just curious, is it known if that's a definite thing or will an old save "catch up" as it were to activate new features?

Some features like new questline, hofs, dog etc... need new savegame, but this dont mean that your old savegame cannt run rest of content without problems.

That depend on your choice. If you want to see the new features, yes, but if you have a 1.04 savegame that you want to continue, you can

That depend on your choice. If you want to see the new features, yes, but if you have a 1.04 savegame that you want to continue, you can
