I don't seem to be able to see the Abbot of a monastery at all, specifically at the beginning of the story mode the Jarl tells me to go to the monastery (Willibrod i believe) to sort out a land dispute but the door marked go to Abbot will not activate, I tried to get in there whilst exploring before getting the quest and it was the same.
I am playing on steam assume this is a bug probably to do with this item on the patch notes:
- Abbot no longer accessible during monastery pillages.
But since I just got Viking Conquest  today I cant be sure?

P.S. Other issues I'm having are:
1. Steam can no longer tell me any of my Warband keys so can't get my VC one to register it here (hopefully will fix itself after the free weekend is over).
2. I can't log into the bug tracker site (I don't think I ever could actually).

Are you visiting monastery on night? I check this out and I can talk to abbot...

just to be clear. That is used for Warband + native, not the DLC's or mods. So for Viking Conquest you don't need it.
 
Found a new bug,

1. Make a troop camp with some troops but only one of a certain type (my case 1 Hornman).
2. Lure enemies to your camp and initiate a fight so your troop camp joins the fight.
3. Have a fight and make sure you win but the Hornman or other unit in the troop camp that there is only one of dies
4. look in your troop camp it it says there is 0 units of that type in your camp instead of just removing the entry.

You can also exploit the troop camp as ally thing to get more experience for your companions.
 
Vassal titles not working properly? I was told that they're not the default prefixes but I just made a companion a "lord" and not a "jarl" like I was expecting. What gives?

it is applied to lords (vassals), not companions you just gave a center. If they decide to switch to another faction then the title will change, or if they become adventurers and get recruited into a faction
 
congrats on releasing RE, looks marvelous and has tonnes of new content, thanks! i've got an issue with the 2005, though: the save repeatedly crushes on 'launching game' stage. its a clean 1.68 + 2005 install and a new character and game. tried to reload the quest that you take from the abbot to save village in Ireland and it wouldnt load. generally, had unusually large amount of crushed with 2005.

A well known error. You need to redownlaod and reinstall Warband 1.168. For some reason or other Taleworlds sneaked in an update without renaming the version. This makes the 2.005 VC literally unplayable without redownloading Warband.

Hello all!

Well Reforged Edition has been out for a few weeks now and the response has been really fantastic. We're very pleased that players are enjoying all the new features and it has been very rewarding to be involved with the developers, Brytenwalda, who really put a lot of work into the release.

Today, I'm announcing that a patch will be coming to deal with a few issues and add a few features, that help complete the patch. This has been directly in response to your feedback as players, so we hope you like it! The patch will be in beta on Steam for starters before it goes into full release, just so that we can make sure everything is working properly. Those who want can opt-in straight away and of course we are very grateful for all the feedback you give.

Instructions for opting into the beta on Steam:
(You remember that you can also use your Warband Key in steam if you bought your game from Taleworlds webpage)

Everyone may be tired of hearing about this and that's fine but I just wanted to post that even after the adultery adjustments in the latest version of the released patch there are still some very silly problems.
It seems that my wife is scripted to engage in this activity regardless of my relationship with her which is +100, being Christian, having eight children, being routinely visited by me every few days or so, my renown of 2000+, my right to rule of 99, my reputation of 408, and my bank balance of 200,000+.
This new wrinkle is so funny I almost fell out of my chair. The lord that she is determined to cheat with is the head of a faction which has been eliminated. His character information page shows that he has "left the realm." Further, I have seen no notifications of him planning any kind of rebellion.
Isn't that a riot!
Anyway, I'm not looking for any kind of response from devs because this whole thing is really no big deal as it becomes moot for me as soon as there is a module system for me to edit this ridiculousness out of the game. LOL :smile:

Do it again please. As Faenwulf said, something went wrong with the update before the last one and you won't be able to play the game without the last one.

tried redownlaod of both 1.168 and 2.005 and reinstall. doesnt help - same result: crush on 'launching game.' shame, it was a good game some 130 days in.
 
after I upgrade to 2005 version
Got Kick out to main menu after any first battle.
I tried all saved games same problem.
Rolled back to version 20 and everything seems fine.
Any save game associated with 2005 version created error.

Reinstalled Warband 1.168 
REinstalled 2005 , 
same problem. 

Reinstalled 20 and working fine.

you also need to re-download WB 1.168 (no matter if you have it or not) and update the base game
