Reforged Edition non-Steam Hotfix (31st July)

Hello all!

A few people had some issues with Reforged Edition that are related to the game's exe. Due to Gamescom, we can't put out a full patch right now but have updated the exe on Steam.

For you non Steam users, feel free to replace the game application with the file at this link: http://download2.taleworlds.com/mb_warband_hotfix_310715.zip

This is a totally optional update and only recommended for those who are experiencing issues with the standalone game. Thanks!

Well I have waited 6 months for RE, waiting another "soon" amount of time probably isn't that big of a deal. Just hope it is out before university is back in session.

if the only thing you are waiting are banners, you can mod them easily on your texture folders  . Just edit the image and export back to dds and you are golden until we release the patch

It is more then that my friend, there are at least a dozen flags that don't match the shield design and one Kingdom has the wrong flag. This is just what I discovered in about 10 minutes of checking out the banners.

-Mide currently uses the banner of the Kingdom of Alban
-The off center shield designs was a terrible decision 
-about a dozen of banners don't match shield designs for example...

This is kind of a mess and it would be nice to get it sorted out before committing to a serious play through if you know what I mean.

Also why don't we get the banner of a kingdom when we start out as a faction leader, in 1200 Hispania if you choose to be a faction leader you get the kingdom banner. The kingdom banners in this DLC are the best looking banners imo and it would be nice to be able to use the faction banner if you are the faction leader in the Royal sandbox campaign.

How did you check the banners? I hope the answer isn't "with the cheat menu". As I said so many time this is a development tool that shouldn't be used by players. As for the kingdom banners, they are set to custom parties so change them would result in a mesh.

I started new games in sandbox mode to check the banners NOT the cheat menu.

Edit: I'll just move these issues to the support forums and you guys can decide if they are bugs or not.

We are aware of that issue and it will be fixed in the next patch. But I wanted to make sure people aren't reporting false issues (If you use the cheats menu you might get that error).

Sorry if this is a stupid question. Is it necessary to download this hotfix if I just downloaded the latest version of the Reforged Edition today? 1.168_2.005 is the version.

Hi, I'm afraid I don't understand your answer. Like I said, the version I downloaded is the latest version on the Taleworlds site, version 2.005. My guess is that this hotfix is included in that version and I don't need to download it separately. But that's just my guess, I wanted to make sure. I don't know what you mean by saying it "is already passed".

Yes Fritz, the Hotfix is already included in 2.005. No Need to downlaod it again. Thats what Caesar wanted to tell you.

If you check the thread title its says "31st July". This means, it was a hotfix from that date, there have been a couple of version in this month. So you can consider this thread as closed... actually I'm going to do it.
