Reforged Edition: Issues

I started a fresh playthrough of RE after the most recent patch. I started Morrigan's questline, and am stuck at the Flaithbertach's Grandchildren quest. I talked to the mayor of Caer Meguaidd, selected the option where I do not give him any money, I just ask where the children are. I hunted down the Vikings and turned in the job. This raised my rep with the town to 8, but I no longer have the option to take any jobs from the mayor.

I recall my first playthrough, I had to grind out some jobs with the mayor to raise my rep with the town up, but this run through, I only have the one job offered and can't get any more. I tried reverting to an earlier save to see if it was broken, but the result is the same: one quest to kill a band of vikings, and no more quests available after that to raise the town rep to progress the Flaithbertach's Grandchildren quest.

Refused lords join my kingdom nevertheless. Therefore I get the relation drop and the Lord defection message. In 1.04 that same message would appear but it would mention another kingdom instead of mine. Never happened before RE

I got a quest from Aebbe a while ago when i spoke to her at a feast in Edinburg, but now that I've finished the quest I can't find her any more. I went to Bebbanburh and found Aebbe's mother in the lord's hall. I asked her for Aebbe's whereabouts and guess what apparently she's in Bebbanburh but is nowhere to be found.

Our ladies are very shy and polite. They will only show up when other people can see they are not doing anything "inappropriate"... If you know what I mean

Where you running other programs in parallel?

It seems you have 1 GB of RAM, I'm afraid that could be the issue. Did you try the game before RE? Did you have the same problem?

I checked my computer and it said I have "Installed memory (RAM): 8.00 GB" on my computer properties. This problem only occured after I have the beta Reforged Edition installed, but this problem does not appear when I start a new game.

I checked my computer and it said I have "Installed memory (RAM): 8.00 GB" on my computer properties. This problem only occured after I have the beta Reforged Edition installed, but this problem does not appear when I start a new game.

The gamelog said you have just 1 GB... You should investigate that if you have 8GB installed.
So with a new game it doesn't happen anymore? Maybe you had a savegame corrupted or something else. We can say it's fixed then.

They already joined despite my refusal (Hersir dub Mc Aeda and Curaischach something. You can trigger it again by indicting them for treason. They'll come back in the hall just after (at least if it happens the same way it does in my game : every time I kick them out they come back instantly)

Edit : Or you can try directly from this one. There are two lords waiting in Jorvik's hall.

just to clarify: lords waiting on your court are "candidates", they will not join your faction until you accept them (you can also deny them). They will move on if you wait too long.

Thanks but I know that  , I left them there to show you what the problem was. Try for yourself, refuse their pledge, and u'll see them becoming full-on vassals. (With armies and everything).

Have you guys removed vikingr/northmen longphorts in the last patch? After 30 in-game days none of them have spawned at all, while all the others are already there. And I know for a sure they are not there, I used kraggrim´s tweak to make them all appear since I couldn´t find any on my own and it was a bit surprising.

we changed the rate of spawn for lairs AND parties, so they may take a few weeks to show up.

--> that also means if you destroy a lair it will take some time to come back, and that will decrease the number of bandits from it

I have destroyed the one that spawns in Wessex three times. Yet none of the viking ones have spawned at all, not even once. The rest are all there (robbers, veteran renegades...).

wait 90 days ish. If they don't show up post your savegame.

use our dev trick -> enable cheats, then set VC DEBUG MODE to 1, go back to world map, CTRL+D, Make all spawn points visible

(I just checked on my newest savegame 1.095 at day 500, they are there)

Don't know if already reported or not:

I have boat (not sure if it affects this or not) and i am in Lundewic and choose to Stroll through town and i spawn at port under water and under a boat ;D <3
