Red Textures

I know there are other threads out there about this but i have the red texture problem using a ati card, all the threads are pretty old and i couldnt find a solution in any of them, does any1 know if there was one around or not?

What have you tried?

There are two standard suggestions here:
1. update the graphics card driver
2. try switching between DirectX7 and 9 (under 'configure').

well im fairly certain my graphics drivers are up to date but i can check again, as for the Dx7 option i did see that but it seemed to work for some not for others, ill give it a try and see how i go

I know that many ATI cards makes things red in DX9 mode.
