Can anyone beat this?

Look at the shot difficulty; 1.7. Then look at the cropped pic. You hit someone that was near and then cropped the image to make it look like you hit that guy far away, right?

I dont think its cropped. I get blood fountains like that on my altered game. I have crossbow bolts that do 200 damage and when i hit with those i get gigantic blood spurts everytime!!

Something like that happens when I put a throwing axe in someone's head at point blank range. Except the gushing blood covers my entire field of vision for half a second.

The image was cropped (I cut some off of the left and right sides and bottom), but that was so that I could make it smaller to fit in this page. The 121 damage shot was not the shot that made the giant blood spurt.

That blood spurt was the result of one of my men hitting a bandit in the face with a throwing axe (w/ maxed power throw).

As much as I would like to believe this photo, I agree with Penguin here. The guy he is implying the blood fountain came from has already fallen over so he would already have been dead thus no blood spurt. Oh, if it was from that far away, the spray would have been wider.

Yes and one of his companion's (the one with the black armour near the victim) has his hand at the end of the throwing animation with no item in it.

My mistake. But still, the blood would then be shooting out of his toe and I just can't see that happening (I can't even see 121 damage done by a projectile to the toe). Feel free to link to the whole picture to prove me wrong though. I've done 242 damage with a couched lance and the blood doesn't spray forward like that. No, without the whole picture, I still can't see this as real unless you fudged around with the graphics or something (then it wouldn't be real would it?).

EDIT: Yea what ilex just said to.

Blood spurts, when generated, hang in the same spot in the air for a few moments. They don't follow the motion of the victims' heads during the fall. So as much as it looks like it was coming from the guy's toes, originally it was coming from the gaping wound in his head.

If he was standing up, he would be completely covering the dead body next to him. When you zoom in on the picture, the spurt is clearly at his knees right now so, I assumed if he was standing upright it would have come out of his feet.

And since you are clearly modding the game (i.e. seargents with throwing axes and ridiculously high damage without headshots) I really don't consider this a ground breaking accomplishment.

Maybe, but why bother? I've seen that exact type of thing in my own games. In fact, a friend remarked on it when I showed her the game.

well he could have done it so that he can make a thread called red geyser of terror and then have a picture of a massive blood spurt, perhaps?
