Coders work with the module system. They example, can code new features into the game if they have skills. Tweak stuff with the ms, add new troops etc.

Ok, since all think this is a new (boring?) lotr mod, it is.

But, its not only that, we aim on making a campaign, sure you can say: 'oh no.. another lotr mod' I won't stop you, but it feels kind of disencouraging.. .

Theres a few reasons for that.
1. The guys who want to create are beginners and soon realize how hard it is and stop.
2. The guys working on it want quality and work and work and work for quality.
3. Many of the mods that have lotr as a theme tend to be pretty new. And by new I mean anything after Warband was announced, and it takes time to do a good mod.

Also, there is one released mostly complete Lotr mod, TLD for version .808 of the original M&B.

Other than that, Arnor 1408, Ak Ela and some otheres have been released but... They are highly unfinished.
