Recruiting Companions - Stats

Make Player able to view Companion stats before paying.

Also, add more types of companions. Besides the "Wanderer" there can be Ex-Royal Guard, Infantry/Cav/Archer Mercenary, Thieves, Thugs and many more.

You can already see their stats. RMB their portrait in the tavern menu sends you to their wiki page.
There are thieves, archers, hunters, cowthieves and many many more. Wanderers are just the most common ones

Thanks for clarifying about stats. So far I've encountered only Wanderers and never saw any other type. Either is bad luck or bug.

I made it into a habit. Every time I visit a town, I go to the tavern menu and right click their portrait. Even before speaking with them.
