Recruit faction troops

I know that after you have started your own faction you can't recruit other factions soldiers from their towns or yours.

I'm wondering though would it be possible for me to edit it to make it so I can? i just like Swadian knights too much xD

yea, but well.... the training and taking them back to the castle sorta annoys me D= not that its bad, just if im besieging a castle and get attacked, id like to be able to upgrade soldiers there xD

and well, sorta would be nice to get some better infantry and archers xD

thats what the warhammers for club ur self some reinforcemets ^^ and whats wrong with elites? 1 elite antarian kills 2-5 swadian sergeants any day

Either you free them from captivity or you take them prisoner (as sgtalex86 said, use blunt weapons) and recruit them to your troops.
If you do the second version don't forget that some want to flee at the first midnight if they are in your party.

Great suggestion.  I would add to this to remember that when you recruit prisoners only do that in the early morning!  This is because your morale immediately drops (depending on the quantity of troops you recruit from prisoners).  Its important that you then spend the day roaming around and destroy either enemy parties or groups of bandits/sea raiders (I do the latter).  This will increase your morale to the point that they won't leave).

P.S. Don't forget to put those newly recruited troops in a town or castle so they don't run.

fight the rhodoks or nords and you will get tons of swadians. I just got 200 swadians in 3 battles in 20 minutes from 6 weak lords that had just taken a castle. My army is 75% swadians 25% villanese.

yea well... rhodoks are pretty much eradicated xD. the only place i seem to find that has alot of prisioners are towns and castles, usually towns. seems the ai like to drop off their prisioners rather frequently.

as for the recruit prisoners... i can only hold 5 prisoners xD

As a general rule: If you want to make money with the ransom brokers/slaver or if you want to recruit from prisoners increase your skill in Prisoner Management.

i don't usually make my money that way but eh, usually get it from captured lords.

I can carry 30 prisoners...
But I let my lords take the prionsers and store them in their castles. Then I take them and sell them for tons of money.
