Rebellions broken for all factions?

I just completed the Swadian rebellion, and when I tried to speak to Lady Isolla of Suno, all she said was "NO STRING".  Then she disappears and spawns later at Uxhal. My quest list still shows the Rebellion quest as active. So I march off to Uxhal and talk to Isolla. But she just speaks to me normally as any King (or Queen) would, and there's no dialogue to complete the quest.

Now, I've seen some other users having the same "NO STRING" bug that prevents you from completing the rebellion. Is it just for the Swadian faction or for all factions?

Nasty bug..
But Vaegir rebellion seems to work fine, I just finished one.

I finished a Rhodok one with Lord Kastor just fine the other day. Curiously, how did you go about the rebellion? Did you recruit most lords or just siege everything?

Might be able to take a look in at the dialog files tonight, I'll let you know.

For my Swdian rebellion, I recruited 75% of the Lords rather than siege everything.

For my Khergit rebellion I sieged Tulga and one castle (formerly Rhodok), I persuaded the other owners to join. The Khan and his remaining 5 lords were defeated in 3 field battles.
After the last battle Dustum Khan left me with the correct conversation.

The rebellion part is actually the real fun part. you can even postpone it, by starting wars with the other factions before defeating the original faction. That way you can keep giving fiefs to others or yourself.

Swadian rebellion worked fine for me.

I found it quite amusing that even after the rebellion Lady Isolla wears that Great Helm I gave her. While sitting in her own castle.

That fix is just to get rid of the quest though. It doesn't get rid of the NO_STRING thing - I tried but couldn't find a cause. The problem is sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I'm thinking it's an engine issue, possibly the same sort of thing causing the food morale bug. If it was a module thing that could be fixed in the text files it should be consistent.

More like by the shiny blades of 40 Swadian knights! 

I bet if you were to fail miserably, though, Lady Isolla and the rest of them would blame you rather than God.  So confusing.
