Rebel questions

After fighting with the nords agains tthe swadians for a while, and gaining lordship, I met up with Lady Isolla of Suno, and became a rebel. I've tried to recruit Swadian lords to my cause, but unfortunately they all hate me (no wonder, as I warred against them for ages), and refused to join me. So, my questions are:

1. Would it be a better idea to be a rebel against the nords, as I have many friends among the Nord lords, and the Nords rule half of the map?

2. If so, how do I get away from Isolla (there isn't the option of breaking the oath King Ragnar had).

3. Is being a rebel even a good idea?!

It will be at least easier as any lord of a castle or city that joins you keeps his fief so you don't have to conquer as many castles.
Assuming you don't get any lords on your side you have to siege all Swadian castles and cities and distribute them among you and Isolla, when you win all lords join you and would be without a fief.

I never did this but I think you can talk to her to end the rebellion, I'm not sure though.

I prefer the rebellion as I can choose exactly what fief I get but otherwise it is just a way to prolong the fighting.

Thanks for the advise, I'll try against King Ragnar now. Fortunately Lord Irya and Aeric are my friends, so I might get Tihr and Wercheg at the beginning
In the fastest rebellion I lead I only had to conquer the capital and 1 castle - I had a lot of friends with the Khergit in that game

I have a question..

i have met Dustum kahn and i have taken all of Khergits castles.

and many of the lords have joined me.

i have sanjar kahn as an prisoner.

how do i win the rebellion.

Capturing the territory is only part of it, you also have to defeat every lord in that faction. Typically this can only be done once they have no castles or towns left since when defeated this is where they respawn but if they have no castles or towns to respawn at when you defeat them then they won't respawn and will be considered defeated. So you have to find where the remaining lords are that are roaming around the map and Finnish them off or capture them. It doesn't matter if they escape or not so long as they have no wheres to spawn.

At the moment I have all Nord villages, castles and towns except for Tadsamesh (I looted it though), have 3  enemy lords as prisoners, but have not won the war. Every now and then I see Nord lords with pitifully small parties running around, but I can never catch them because of their awesome speed. How can I finish this war?

Honestly I wouldn't worry about it. They will eventually get killed by bandits or something at some point if you don't get them yourself. And as I was mentioning in another thread that once a faction is defeated all the lords split up into the remaining factions including the one you are in which means no new castles/towns for you intill all the newly joined lords are given territory by the king first.

Talk to Isolla in your party menu, ask her how she thinks the rebellion is goin, and then say, "This is goin nowhere, lets give up" and then you give up and Isolla leaves Caladria forever.
