I've really no idea what that process_factions.py part is all about, I've never seen anything like that.

The Warning lines about the unused local variables are fine, its been happening for awhile, and it doesn't cause any problems.

Any python gurus around here know what's causing it, or how to fix it maybe?

I don't know what's causing it, and I don't know what fixes it - but I can tell you with some authority that the Module Build error reporting thingamyjig rarely tells you anything useful other than syntax errors.

It's like a mechanic.  "Your manifold sprockets gone, mate."

"Aye?  Is that right?  What needs doing, then?"

"Your manifold sprocket's gone...

Your manifold sprocket's gone...

Your manifold sprocket's gone..."

I'm sorry I can't help you, but let it be known that I feel your pain.

Hah, thanks for the moral support Flanged.  It's good to know I'm not the only person the build_module hates.

Not recently, Lope, but I'll check on it, thanks mate.

Whenever I have an error that mention process.py anything I usually find that I am missing a comma or bracket somewhere.  So check all of those.  You could also try copying any complete module folder that you think is the problem then replacing it with a native one.  That way you can narrow down which module_ folder is giving you the error at least.  I would suggest starting with module_factions as the error mentions factions.  Failing that I dug up a thread Kto posted that makes Python more descriptive as to what the problem is.
Check out the thread here.  I hope I helped a little...

That did actually help.  Turns out I put something in the second set of brackets in a Faction tuple that doesn't belong there.  *shame*

Thanks all, locking this up now
