My vote goes towards Unrealistic... However, everytime I start a new game, it always irks me when I choose it. =P

Unrealistic.. Although I have made a realistic game but you can still exit the game without saving (cntrl+alt+del) so I figured I might as well play an unrealistic game.

Unrealistic as I like to save a lot, like physicaly clicking the button makes me feel just that much more secure.

If only real life had the option to 'Save', then 'Quit without Saving' and go back to your last save point!

I only choose 'unrealistic' because the game crashes on me from time to time so I compulsively hit "save". I never reload or anything though, so I chose "realistic" on the poll.

Buggy games make me feel incredibly insecure.

Unrealistic for bug/werid things fighting. I think it is acceptable to load after being killed by a barrel...

Depends on what character I want to make. If I make a character that I just wanna fight some big battles with I use unrealistic, so if I find two warpartys fighting each other I just save and when its done, I do it again (Battle Size Changer  )

Unrealistic for me. To me, part of the fun of a game is being able to 'undo' stupid decisions or unexpected problems. I play games for fun.

I do both, I have one hardcore max difficulty character with realistic saving (warrior monk, 2-hand sword only, only wears robes, no horses. Runs like the wind and dodges arrows), and a couple standard easy-save characters just for fun.

Unrealistic because I value my freedom and I want to police myself when and if to save and when and if to quit instead of being forced upon, I don't need a baby sitter.

realistic. the only way to go. i like to deal with situations going wrong, and live with em. realoading is too cheap.

If you knew how right you are.

Realistic, because I know i would forget to save for hours and would have to replay a lot when the game crashes. I like the automatic saving, because then I don't have to do it

But only if you were the only one in the world with that ability. If everyone had it, it would be so pointless

Lol, I was thinking exactlly the same thing when i saw your post!

Yep, that's why I have it but you don't.

I use realistic because pressing "save" once in a while is much more energy-demanding than catching a manhunter party and autosaving that way.
