Realism vs Arcade

I think Idibil and the team have some problems with us players. Some of us demand hardocore and realism in the mod, others beg for casualty and arcade-style gameplay. I suggest we speak about it here argumented. I start first.

Personnaly, I love it realistic. I love to feel atmosphere the of dark ages, to count every scilinga and get myself every cookie through tough battles. The new things in 1.31 are somewhat unbalanced BUT the ideas are great. The morale penalties are good. Tough tourneys are good. Armour penalties, high prices, rough economy - everything's good. It just needs a little bit balancing.

I always play on hardest settings and without saves. 1.3 was way too easy for me. Still, I understand that there are other players who don't play much and want to have it easy and fun.

Personnaly, I see one option: let the player choose the game's difficulty in the Mod Options Menu. Though it may be hard for Idibil to:

- make morale penalties on/off
- make armour penalties on/off
- make torneys easy/hard (including bets, rewards, etc)
- make economy/trading easy/hard

IF Idibil and the team willing to realise this options - great, the problem is solved. If not - well, let us suggest something. We should help the team, right? ;)
