Question - do you have anything against custom brf's? I need to swap textures of some objects.
Another question - can map be designed for uneven teams? because my is very defender-friendly castle... and I wont change it, because IMO idea of 'balanced' castles sucks hard.
Also I'm noob (first scene ever), so after I made all terrains and objects, I'll ask for help with other stuff (entry points, ai meshes, weather, moveable/destructible objects, ect.). WIP screen-shots soon.

It doesn't - I'll create new brf with my (retextured native)  models.

As I promised - WIP s-s (castle walls texture will be changed)

I like it but I hope that bridge isn't the only entrance for attackers otherwise they would need a numerical/skill advantage to have a chance.
 
Awsome siege map, can you imagine 90 people attempting to cross that bridge at once ? xD

(once we upgrade we think our new server will be able to run 3x 180 player servers.
 
There will be at last one more entrance (already visible on screen - sally door in right wall), or even two if I figure out how to make moveable ships... but all of them will be very attacker unfriendly  :twisted:
And I already said that it's designed for uneven teams.

Also - castle walls will use same textures as bridge.
 
I think that would be fun with the attackers having giant shields and a numerical advantage with a little teamwork. Rhodoks or Nords attacking sounds ideal. Maybe defending Vaegirs?
 
That map looks like its going to be an massacre for the attacking team. You need a organised team of Rhodok soldier to keep the enemy at the gate, while archers shoot the living **** out of them.

Too unbalanced in my opinion.
 
well... that is exactly like IMO siege should looks like - brave, well organized team of 30 defenders fight 60 angry attackers  :twisted:

But if community decide (after testing) that with 2:1 ratio is too hard to assault, than I'll add some more entrances.

btw. siege will be even hardest, because flag will be in keep (highest viking house), which is far away from attacker spawn point after second and third line of defence, not in courtyard.  :twisted: Of course there are always multiple ways to flag... :wink:
 
If you ask me, it should be played on battle, not siege. The way sieges work, sitting on a flag for a few seconds, is retarded.
 
It will be battle-compatible map. But in battle all combatants fight in one place, which mean all other defence points and passages aren't used, are just wasted. For battle you need small castles, with one wall, not big one designed for long, multi staged defence.

You can continue making maps and they will be added in "updates" to the pack. (first will be one week from now)
 
How do I make a map??? Gah! I saw this and got so caught up in the idea of making a multi player map that I started drawing designs. So I searched around in the mod making forum thing and then searched for it, but still nothing. Can someone link me to a guide or something?

BTW all these maps look great, I hope to play them someday.

It would work a lot better if the spawn points changed with the progression of the game. Does anyone know if this is possible to do in native?

Ok ill go and finish my maps..
Remember if you submit your map you can always modify it for the enw releases and updates.
