Hi Zoltaan,
I can see that you have 1Gb of RAM when the minimum is 3Gb, I'm afraid thats a problem. But from your other components I think it should be wrong (like the W7 when you said you have W10)... But those are the components the game is detecting and therefore you are running out of RAM really fast.

Then, you posted your rgl_log, not the rgl_config, please bring it here and bring your full component list as well, It's quite weird.

Hi Zoltaan,
I can see that you have 1Gb of RAM when the minimum is 3Gb, I'm afraid thats a problem. But from your other components I think it should be wrong (like the W7 when you said you have W10)... But those are the components the game is detecting and therefore you are running out of RAM really fast.

Then, you posted your rgl_log, not the rgl_config, please bring it here and bring your full component list as well, It's quite weird.

thank you for the fast response! So the Win7 thing was my fault, I set it in the .exe compatibility option 100 years ago and forget it, sorry for that. The 1GB is strange, because I have 8 GB. Could you share you savegame?
If you moded the game, in an uncertain way, the savegame might be just broken and you might have lost that savegame. With the new update it might have broken something. Remember to have always a backup savegame just in case and be careful with the quick savegame.

Then, some performance tips:
render_buffer_size = 500 -> Make it smaller
battle_size = 0.5550 -> It should be 0.0 if you don't have a moster PC (I have a laptop very like that one)

Thats a bug we already fix in the non-released version. It will be fixed in the next version.
 
Couple possible scenes issues for Adorno:

Dun Sebuirge scene (and others maybe?), npcs have trouble getting over some of these parts where the steps go between levels. The step is sometimes too high.

Vebjorg, prison rescue might be a little too hard, there are 7 guards standing in sight of the prison guard.

When you sneak in with only a staff and seax it's pretty tough!  Maybe I'm just a bad fighter though :smile:.


Edit: Also, did you decide not to implement the AI mesh changes from this post? I'm still getting the pathing issues in Rath Celtair and other port towns.

This last issue was tested in non-steam 2.023.
 
I can't start a new game on Viking Conquest Reforged Edition.
when i click "start new game" button, the screen would shut off every time, while the pc is still running.
The video card is GTX680, the system is WIN8.1, VC is 2.023, and Warband is 1.168, Native and other mods are OK to play.

Also, 1 GB RAM is too little. 2 GB is bare minimum.
How much RAM do you have? (Having 2 GB RAM is also too little since at least 1 GB is used by Windows alone.)

RGL log isn't always accurate when reporting hardware. Mine falsely says that I use my integrated graphics rather than the card for some reason.

Quite odd, you have a x64 processor running a x86 OS, 4Gb of RAM and just recognize 1Gb... are you using a Virtual Machine?

no im not, im using an entire computer, not virtual machine..
I found that my problem is not so popular but it does prompt up to some players, while I can not find a solution. :sad:

You are most likely using compatible mode, which limits your RAM. Disable it and check again

You are right.. i checked again after disabling compatible mode, and now the problem is, after clicking "start new game" button, it goes back to the main menu after showing some loading tips in the bottom of the screen. Then i copied the reference files:
