Actually now it's you who is wanting to shot us not the other way. We want the name simply because we like the confederate states not the KKK ideology itself. It wont cause any trouble as we wont be using the irl clan methods, just like a player who is Germans team in ww2 mod wont tk a jew which managed to take Germany too. And also, KKK isnt even in the same continent as us, so why would you care?

Then make a clan to do with the south and not something that is well known around the world as a bunch of racist mother******s, if your in NA goto the NA server and ask them.
I ask again why would you want to be in a clan called the KKK? you say its to do with the confederate states well why not make one called the CSC (confederate states clan)?
I say again if you have one called the KKK you will get randomed left right and center (not a threat btw just a statement of fact).

Look if a bunch of guys are going around with the tags KKK it doesnt matter that they are using the ideology or not, people on the server will look at it and asume that they are racist and will random/grief etc, its for the good of the server not to allow it.

Just read your last post, Eh? Iam a mixed race british male and I care if the server allows a clan name which is known around the world for being racist it would be the same if someone tried to have a clan name of BNP I would complain.
If you have a clan called the KKK your gonna attract the wrong sort of people to the game.

No your not understanding me, there is no legitimate argument to allow the name KKK, the server has rules about racism and to allow a name of an organisation which stands for white power etc as a clan name isnt right.
Your just saying its because it was formed in the south etc thats why we wanna use it, well Iam sure plenty of people will agree with me saying pick another clan name to do with the south.
I ask again why would you want to have a clan called the KKK? explain why? what way are you going to RP a member of the KKK? Iam annoyed about this because you don't see anything wrong with it.
Also on EU PW a couple of guys tried making a faction called the KKK (maybe you dunno) and the admin received loadsa complaints and the faction was made to change the name

Why cant we RP as we want? We will be a Russian based clan which will talk Russian in local chat, so you wont get what we are saying anyway. And when we RP with others I doubt someone will use the swear words you mentioned before. We want to use this tag because we like confederates and reason number one because we like the tag, its original.

Iam not going to explain myself again...I think people have voiced why we dont like the clan name KKK but you have come up with a lame reason why you want to be called it.
If you want to be in a confederate clan group why dont you call your clan what the KKK term means, it means Circle of Brothers so use that. Like I have already said if you call it the KKK your gonna cause problems for the server and the admins.

What? KKK has nothing to do with maps. They went around shooting black people.

As you mentioned they was killing black and white people. Which means their not racist. But anyway, we aren't going to use their methods even if they are, at least we aren't gonna kill black ppl (if there even are any). It's just a name so what's the big deal? And also their motto is "heritage, no hate".

The KKK were slightly operational in Europe to. So little that they are hardly recognized there.

Anyway even with the tag KKK, people will get the idea of the Klu Klux Klan. They will be highly offended.

Yet it is true at one point.

[*]The KKK still exist today. They still preach their hate. It isn't at all acceptable (in my opinion) to give such a hateful group any representation in a game or otherwise.

[*]Your comparison to people playing as German Nazis in a WWII mod is somewhat invalid, as the Nazi ideology is greatly diminished today, and very few Germans today celebrate Nazi ideology, making it a far less touchy subject, PLUS the fact that Nazis are far more relevant in that context than are the KKK in this time-frame (The KKK didn't exist in 1890. They had previously disbanded in 1874 only to be refounded later in 1915, so the historical context is completely off.)

[*]Given the controversy, it would be entirely wise for any server owner to disallow the usage of the "KKK" clan tag regardless of your claim that it won't be any problem. This would be to maintain the image of the server, and is what will most likely happen.

Really, I just about think this point kills your argument in itself since the mod takes place in 1890. Without accurate historical context, you have no excuse.

  Also, im quite sure you would let us use the name Taliban if we wanted to, which is a far more hateful organization, and many more Europeans have reasons to be against Taliban than KKK. And again, I find no reasons why people will be offended by that tag when it's just a damn RP. And why the hell do we need a excuse to use the name we want to use?
