[RCC] Power to the people, a request for kick polls

There is no GOOD admins. There are only better one than bad admins.

As example there are RCC Server rules:

1. Do not kill Head of Admins = ban
2. Do not kill admin = kick
3. Do not complain about point 1 or 2 = permaban

Explanation1: killing admin is ALWAYS "random kill"

It is not admins fault. It is system fault. Admin is just human being plus is very often very young human being. Admin will rage, will like one player and will dislike other which will effect his actions. Any server with owner who is actively involve in game will be compromise sooner or later  as well as any human being who has got power over other will be corrupt by it.

Need we have a history lesson?

A long time ago in a far off land called the Smurof DOMWP the people were being abused by the pesky randomers sent by Idiocy and his cult of followers. However, the Wardens of DOMWP left the land for long periods of time which allowed these minions of Idiocy to wreck havoc on the lands. As a result the people of DOMWP cried out for more wardens!

In a hasty movement the leader of the Roaming Wardens Clan of the plains territories decided to promote more of his own followers to be wardens of the land of DOMWP! However, they were not trained well in the ways of the wardens and although the minions of Idiocy were banished from the lands, soon innocent peasants in the land of DOMWP were finding themselves banished as well!

With corruption and banishment spreading throughout DOMWP the people of DOMWP cried out for removal of these new wardens! As a result, the leader of the Roaming Wardens Clan of the plains territories decided to banish these untrained wardens and remove them from their places of power! The lands were at ease, but the minions of Idiocy slowly leaked back in... and so our tale ends.

BUT - Here we stand, with the plea for MORE wardens to arrive in the land of DOMWP, oh how the woeful history of our people repeats itself...

Cutting the ****, no, "more admins" is not a better solution because in the end all of you will simply come onto these forums and cry "ADMIN ABOOOSSSEEEE" more so than you already do and then soon enough the RCC server will clapse due to people's unwillingness to play on the server and soon enough with TKoV's small limit of 50 people, the other 60-80 players will find themselves without a server to play on.

Is that what you really want?

The way I see it, we can't give you kick polls because all you little tards abuse them, we can't give you more admins because all you little tards complain about them, we can't give you stricter rules because all you little tards complain about them.

So the only damned solution appears to be, quit your damned whining and take the woeful troubles of randomers up the ass like a man!

By the way, hardly any of this post was directed only at Serann, rather to the whole community.

This is no my intention to have a go at admins. They really do good job....but...

There is no way to make ppl happy. There is no way to make admins happy(for the records: admins=ppl). As long ppl will have somebody to blame for theirs own problems (everything really) as long forum will be spam by "unban me pls" posts. This is what really annoys me:

This is not RCC problems forum! This is PW MOD forum! In time when only RCC was populated and working server ppl seems to forgot about it. How about PW community. My goal is to make it bigger... To make it this mod as attractive to random M&B player as CRPg is. I am tired of creating elite of RPplayers who think that they found holly grail. I like to log in to this forum once and see something constructive and positive. I like that for any new coming player as well. I do not want PW MOD to be known as unplayable mod which is control by elite of fanatics and the best you can expect is to be ban because you do not understand their point. Then you will be redicule only because you complain about it. Then you will get some explanation only to realise that THEY do not understand THEIR point as well.

Some ppl act here like M&B would be the most HOT game on the market.Well.It is not.Is old...very old...Is attractive to guys with ancient computer..or..to the ppl who really like the idea of game it self. M&B is unique.PWMOD is even more unique (and it should be made as game it self really)

I want to see this game to be played by free ppl and created and develop by free ppl. I want RCC to be just a clan again which participate in this experience as organise group of players.

I like to make sure that new coming players do not have to know the name "RCC" as well they do not have to know who is NObody, Splintert or others...Only one names which are importand in this Mod is Laszlo,Vornne and others who creating so much fun for all of us.

PS.I am not raging/smoking/I do know my English is no perfect...I am just trying to put my point across...

I believe your post is a bit over the top Nov, as killing an admin or debating the rules does not mean you will get kicked or banned. For people like me who have been a admin on several games for lengthy periods of time, If I get killed you do not get kicked/banned. If the rules are followed, I have no problem with dying. If someone tries to kill me while not following the rules, I warn them. If they kill me before I am able to warn, I warn them about how they just broke the rules and will get punished if it happens again, then I go back to what I was doing. If I get killed by them again, or know they are still breaking the rules, I will say " "Name" you are being kicked for "Reason"  "  and then kick them. Bans are very rare for me, and not every admin goes around banning or kicking everyone who kills them. For complaining about points/rules, there is a difference between debating/discussing the rules and whining. The rules are discussed on the forums and you really shouldn't be complaining ingame. I would never ban someone for complaining, but if I told them to stop whining and go take it up on the forum, and they didnt, I would kick them for interrupting other player's roleplay/fun.

There are good admins, but sometimes we need to remove players so they do not inhibit the fun that other players could be having.

i asked to be a admin twice while i was with Rcc to be a admin but iv given up with it i play on the server now and then but it does seem to be getting worst with the randoming and i know the admins that do turn up try everything they can to make it fun for everyone.....well maybe not all the admins.

Every week there is new threads with people complaining they got randomed.

If you kick everyone that kills or acts like a bandit then it becomes a very dull game. The threat of danger brings some excitement.

The maps are big enough that you can goto a private area and do your role play thing with almost no danger, just avoid the areas where those killers like to hang out if you don't want to be attacked.

On most maps there is more then 1 place to buy weapons and earn gold and such, so i don't really seeing "randoming" as a problem, its just people refuse the adapt to a different evironment, sometimes it may be full of killers, other times it will be peaceful.

It doesn't kill rp, they are RPing as savage killers, you could RP too and hire protection or team up with people if needed.

It most certainly can ruin RP, for one the VoS map only has one place to get all the different swords and axes and shields ect in the castle.

There are also often trigger happy taxers saying something like 2k now or die than end up killing you as an unarmed civ before you even have time to pay. This is also unavoidable because there are certain places to get trade goods.

Then there are the randomers who hang around the town killing everyone on sight and they probably have low ping.
These guys also break NLR, meaning to be within rules you have to give them a new chance each life which they will not use each life.

Randoming is bad for server population as it makes the game less fun for everyone. It also ruins RP do to losing what you have gained so far (not from NLR rule, most people dont count it with random deaths) but you lose what you were doing at that moment, your weapons are gone ect.

Say Im holding a private meeting, and suddenly some randomers walk into the tavern where I happen to be and attack me and my men without even saying anything. They manage to kill us all. Well yes we can continue it somewhere else. But being killed randomly stops andy momentum you have created in your role.

It's not important that this game is combat-based, this is a roleplay server, not a deathmatch server. If someone does not want to fight, he should have the possibility to avoid it.
