The persistant guild system we may use on the server, or certain aspects of it...

We may use this system because of the ability to grant persistant factions a more persistant feel of both advantages and disadvantages.
This system tied into our purchase-a-hideout and faction banking systems will become a little boost to persistancy.

Using what players in a persistant faction choose, depends on available classes, and whether or not they are bandit or commoner classes if they haven't purchased a permanent faction slot.

This is feature is not definite, as we don't actually know for certain what the public opinion is of such a feature, and because of complications that may arise because of the use of said feature.

Depending on what type of faction you choose depends on what type of hideout you'll get.
Traders will get houses of a variation of size inside and outside the town, and guardsmen will get housing near the town watch building.
Raiders will get coastal houseing or hideouts...

Well. Thats just an example - I'll work on this part of it later.



Now I want to hear the public's opinion on this matter.

How to purchase a hideout:

  • Make sure your faction / guild is registered to a certain type
  • Make sure your faction / guild has the funds for a hideout.
  • Choose a location in which you want it to be located.

Costs:

Small hideout: 450k

Medium Hideout 650k

Large hideout 800k

Training points

Traveller
5k

Hunter
10k

Footman
20k

Militia
15k

Sergeant
20k

Crossbowman
20k

Healer
10k

Brigand
10k

Ruffian
10k

I'm about to go to sleep, but you should add Angles and The Seaxes /Saxons to raiders and Franks, and Dena Raiders/Pirates (Danish raiders etc)
Also you might have forgot about the scottish raiders?  :cool:

Those listed are just examples, to give people a better idea of what the faction would play like, thus expanding on said examples is pretty pointless.

Magical groups are hard to balance :razz:

Whats that? If you sacrifice a certain amount of commoners at a certain alter and complete the ritual you get one of these to command?!

Although this type will need a lot more work to balance it out, Witch hunters vs Warlocks and Witches for type 6 maybe?

Depends how much love the first 5 types get i guess :razz:

read what it says above it, each type has 2 EXAMPLES, you aren't limited too those groups they are just ideas you fool :razz:
 
Guilds are free while we test them and balance, they will be pay groups after im 100% sure they are balanced and fair for all
