Should I put up the .obj file??
 
Hmm, seeing as the game crashed while loading my save game, I think someone with some more experience should look at it.

So it'd be good if you would upload the .obj as well. And the texture. :smile:

Ok I've got it to work now, but It can't find the mesh??? Where should I put it then?
 
urg, the export is so terribly poor its impossible to fix/unwrap/put in game :/ sorry, i cant help you.
 
No need for that. Pheeeewwww after hours of testing modifing and editing, I finally got it to work. And yes, I'm proud of it, and you'll see it.

Yup :wink: 2 versions, thanks for comments, shall I host the file then? By the way, the inside of the open helmet is strangely transparant.
Also, for some reason you import both open and closed helmets, atleast I can't.

That's the open model, but still need to import it with the model importer, and choose costumes3 for the texture.

Closed model, but still need to import it with the model importer, and choose costumes3 for the texture. Sadly I can't put both files in-game so I only have the closed model loose. If anyone can do it I'd like to hear from it.

That's the texture for both, put it in the textures folder

I was able to get both into my BRF file but I had some issues...
when I imported them into max (I had to change the UV mapping because I had already used costume3.dds) they had duplicate internal names, which is why I think you could not import them using the BRFviewer...
now to my problem..when I imported them they are missing quite a few polygons..I do not know if it was because I imported it into Max or something else.
 
Funny thing is in the BRFviewer it looks solid, but in the game it is missing polys.

I am using 7
jik, your obj files open fine.

Its because Lurbs viewer has no back face culling... make sure all your normals are set right on your mesh (when you export some get flipped atm). Maybe you should enable backface culling in the next viewer Lurb :wink:

That was correct it was the normals...but now I can not use both open and closed...so tonight I will straigten it out.
 
Hmm I have no idea why the polys are missing, but it works fine with me.
Please explain why I can't put them both ingame.. and why you can :eek:
