Ransom Brokers are gone

I'm not using any mod, and suddendly I can't find not one ransom broker,
seriously I am carrying the same prisioners for weeks.

Ransom brokers appear randomly, like companions and book merchants. But this might also be a bug, if it is then I don't know how to fix it : )

But! Take a look in the tommylaws text tweak compilation, there is a tweak there that lets you sell prisoners to the tavern keepers!

The ransom broker Ramun is a permanent patron of Tihr's tavern, so go there if you can't find anyone else. Other than his name and fixed location he works just like any other ransom broker.

EDIT: also note that each tavern has a limit to how many NPCs can be in the room at one time, so if the room has quite a few people there may be others you can't see.

If you don't find any ransom brokers it just might be bad luck, there are 10 or so of them but there are 18 cities so it's possible that you only find empty taverns. As Darian said Ramun is a permanent slave trader based in Tihr (also the only place to not find a ransom broker) so you can always use him.

If you are not against using cheats teleport to each city and look in the tavern. If you find none it looks like a bug (and one I haven't heard before).

In other words, the taverns in some cities might have NPC's that are located at a different location in the tavern, most usually you need to find a stair, go up, and there you might find more people. There are only a few cities that are able to have NPC's on a different "deck" (I cant remember the English word for it.. haha.. I'm stupid), however, I can not remember which cities this is.

Well... You could just save, do the cheating to find out if its a bug or not, and then quit without saving..? If you have realistic save you can not do this of course, but heck.. Just cheat away and see if its a bug or not : )
