It does not do that though, it lessers the punishment between a good player and a bad player. The only thing promoting egoistic behaviour is the personal mindset of the player. Quite funny you call crybabies people who obviously put effort and suffer the same punishment as a braindead bot who does nothing but chasing kills. Guess you all want solos versus premade, looks like the fate of competitive is already sealed because the community is close minded as ****. Enjoy the experience with other 10 people, I guess.

A matchmaking system is there to create fair teams. The "braindead bot" is most likely a player with your skill who has a bad game. Sure the first 20 games might be a bit messy until the system knows your true skill but even those 20 games will be pretty fair. And after that you will only play with players of your skill.
 
I guarantee you that matchmaking systems rarely form true 'matchmade' teams and I have been put, in all games, with bots in the same team or as enemies. You're suddenly acting like you have never played any competitive game before. The very same games you mentioned, CSGO, Dota, LoL, have all matchmakers that do the same thing, because it's not possible, in any way or form, to perfectly balance teams.
 
They do not ignore stats because that system is bad, they ignore stats because they all have an outdated and extremely basic matchmaking system.

If that is the case do you have an example of a modern matchmaking system that uses performance based MMR in the highest ranks?

You know how the end game of single player is to start your own kingdom and conquer the map? The end game of multi-player is to completely destroy the player base. Hunt down the pubs that remain and press E/X until their resolve has been crushed and they've routed the field. When the solo queue counter reaches 1 player you beat the game, and retire to complain on the forums.
