Rank too fast and FPS issue

I saw there were some very old topics on this but no solutions.

basically you just rank to fast. I joined a nord army at lvl 1 and and you just go through the ranks rally fast and apparently regardless of your level. After 10 days I was top rank...

Can the values of time between promotions be changed somehow?

Also I play mods with major graphic modifications (1257, Brittenwalda, etc) and 500 unit battles with no FPS problems yet on this mod with native graphics any battle over 200 is unplayable because the game just stutters and drops down to 10 or lower fps. Any idea why?
