Hey Taleworlds, I have an issue. I bought Bannerlords last year. I've had some difficulty with actually playing the game for a decent period of time. I can get between 10-60mins of playtime without any issue before my computer freezes, no warning of graphical mishap or slowed gaming, just freezes and I have to hard reset the pc. Very very rarely I can get 1hr and 30mins and once or maybe twice I had played it for over 2 hours before it froze. I have looked for the system requirements and I meet the minimum even the recommended minus with the latter my processor isn't up to the standards. At the time I was using 8gb of ram. I have (for this game) upgraded to 16gb with no difference to the freezing perhaps due to memory leaks, so I have upgraded further to the motherboards max which is 32gb of ram. Still no difference. Except for Cyberpunk 2077, I do not have any games on the PC that are intensive to the components with the rig. I am wondering if you guys can help suggest anything that would allow me to play this game as I see and hear others play it even with lower components than my own rig. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, verified the files on Steam. I have even reinstalled windows 10 and nothing happened. If you need my computer specs, please do not hesitate to ask for them as I will post them for you. Hopefully you've come across this issue before and solved it. Thanks in advance.

so tough to diagnose these things, I made a video covering about 6 different things to try and hopefully solve crashes for people and I bet the entire video might help 1 in 10 people. Thats how tough it is to diagnose and fix, software, hardware, virus, so many things do it

Did you buy your hardware brand new, how old is your system, and is it on an SSD or HDD?
I bought it brand new June 2016 from PC specialist. I have a HDD which I've disconnected just not removed it physically and I'm currently using a 1tb SSD. The RAM is more recent. September last year and a week ago to make the 32gb.

maybe 5% of working but did you try these?

Do you have the software files that steam is supposed to install, it is a thread in the main technical forum
Not sure, going to have a look now. Though shouldn't this be information everyone is required to know, like "extra information" regarding downloading of this product?

I had one of them already updated, but I have downloaded and installed the second one. Thanks.

Your hardware sounds good and is above the Minimum Requirements. Are there any folders in "C:\ProgramData\Mount and Blade II Bannerlord\crashes"? If yes, then upload it to Taleworlds by following the instructions in the link below. Start by the "How to Send Save Files" section and make sure to put a link to this thread and your username in.

If you want it taken care of quicker and you're OK with a non-Taleworlds person looking at the crash files, upload it to Google Drive and post a link. Taleworlds might take longer to help you because this is an issue that affects one person, not multiple. Also, do you know for sure that when you play the game, your RAM usage keeps on climbing, or did you add RAM just to make sure that it wasn't the problem?

Once I downloaded, I was able to play for an hour and ten minutes before my entire pc froze.

I will follow this suggestion, however my question is that if the entire computer freezes, would it have time to create a crash file?

In the past I was fortunate enough to send crash reports, only now it just skips that process and freezes. Used to crash when I wanted to go back to a save file, building siege equipment or in a siege battle. I've checked and no folder for crashes.

I didn't realise it could be a memory leak before upgrading from 16gb (for Cyberpunk) to 32gb. However having a look now, the highest it will reach while playing Bannerlord is 8gb or 7.9gb to be precise.

Open the program Event Viewer. On the left, expand "Windows Logs" and then "Application".
All the way to the right, Click "Filter Current Log".
Check the boxes labeled "Critical", "Warning", and "Error", and hit OK.
Select the top item in the list of events, and then while holding "Shift" select the one on the bottom of the list (you don't need to bother scrolling down to the bottom of the list, just select the bottom one that you can see).
Right Click and select "Copy", "Copy Table", and then paste it in this thread.
