a bunch of ideas that i thought about

-how come when ur running towards a guy from behind he knows ur there without even seeing u? kinda retarded isnt it? and the enemy always knows where u are so u cant have melee guys get them from the front and archers from back.

-food needs to rot, i dont think its possible to have the same apples as u did a month ago

-new shop for upgrading? that would be cool

-breakable weapons like how does a wooden stick survive so many attacks from swords

-injuries, if u get shot in the leg why do u still run normal speed or if u get shot in ur arm shouldnt u attack slower or not attack at all?

-lefties and righties, maybe some ones better with their left hand?

-head shots with helemets, unless its not metal or u got hit in the face u shouldnt die, its why helmets were invented

-backpack? isnt only being able to hold 4 things annoying? backpack should let u hold a couple more but the more u carry the slower u are and it slows u down even if u have nothing in it since ur wearing it

-fists, wearing gloves should make damage with fists higher

-bring back zendar and saltmine! saltmine should actually be a saltmine, u buy a pickaxe, go mine crap, sell? or get metal go to weapon smith tell him make this for this much denars? and zendar just because i like that place

-armor for ur horsey? make buyable armor for horses and horse merchant because its realistic

-double sided spears, why cant i use the other side?

-blunt damage with swords, why cant i use the flat side or turn it so its like a flat thing or hitting people with the handle like if u were pistol whipping some one

-training with ur own soldiers in camp mode!

-more crap to do with ur castles and towns

-guards who do somthing when u take out a sword and try to hit some one in towns, its kinda stupid when u shoot arrows at everything and try to hit the guards in towns and they just stand there. they should do their job >:L

-house? store ur stuff, spend time doing things like making weapons, quicker healing, idk..

-shouldnt just hitting people make u stronger over time? strength never goes up by itself :L

-forage, do it randomly in spots, have a chance of finding a group of bandits hiding? find some cows to get food from? find some dead bodies with gold! or find nothing or run into a trap?

-helping towns castles and villages build should make it a whole lot faster, i hate waiting for those dumbasses to build somthing

-supplying ur own army with weapons, why cant i buy crap for my own people to use D:???: wat if i want them to use certain things like spear throwing guys on horses people who use sword and shield that have like 3 shields

-guns, me want guns

-more secrets

-being able to be hired by towns villages lords or parties

-being able to hire parties to follow u and help out in battles, maybe having 2 seperate parties is better, if u see a big group coming tell them to stay where they are and u run like hell

Sounds like "World of M&B"

You should play MMOs instead of single player games.

Yes.. the fun of excavating salt from a salt mine

Meat goes bad, for the food part.

"How does a wooden stick survive so many attacks from swords?" Because wooden sticks are not the toothpicks you think they are?

"Headshots with helmets" Uhhh, that's why we have armor values, kiddo

Why would you run around on the field with a backpack loaded with ****?

Buy a warhorse if you want an armored horse.

There are plenty of mods with plenty of guns.

Train special units for special needs.

gun mods suck, only beef goes bad, wooden sticks for some reason can survive all attacks including attacks from samurai sword which makes no sense >:L, i want backpack because 36 javelins arent enough for me, war horses are slow and cost alot, and headshots some times make no sense in this game like if u had one of those full helmets where u see nothing except a crack for the guy inside to see that person shouldnt be able to be killed so quickly by a head shot, special units for special needs, no one rides a horse and throws jarids and uses one sword only and i also want a uniform kinda thing for my army. and i hate mmos because its full of jackasses.

The enemy know your there cause of the AI. It would take a while to make an AI have >360 degree angle vision.

-food needs to rot, i dont think its possible to have the same apples as u did a month ago

Beef from cattle rots. Also, the morale drop from uneatable food all of a sudden would make players turn their back.

-new shop for upgrading? that would be cool

Upgrading weapons? Uhh...how would that be possible during the time M&B takes place?

-breakable weapons like how does a wooden stick survive so many attacks from swords

Or what about that masterwork war sword you finally got broke during the first attack in a battle! [sarcasm]That sounds like fun![/sarcasm]

-injuries, if u get shot in the leg why do u still run normal speed or if u get shot in ur arm shouldnt u attack slower or not attack at all?

That would be too buggy if implemented. Tried for horses depending on their HP in an earlier version (Or so i heard....) and the horses were slower than foot soldiers.

-lefties and righties, maybe some ones better with their left hand?

Kind of already discussed...during this time, it was a curse to use your left hand in battle...(if one DID, it was 1 in a hundred...if he was even let in the army).

-head shots with helemets, unless its not metal or u got hit in the face u shouldnt die, its why helmets were invented

Armor ratings, buddy! As crazyeyes said.

-backpack? isnt only being able to hold 4 things annoying? backpack should let u hold a couple more but the more u carry the slower u are and it slows u down even if u have nothing in it since ur wearing it

How can you carry 4 2-handed weapons in the first place? If this were implemented, the max items you could get from backpacks would be 4...and why would you even lug it around? You have an item pack where you spawn in the game already. That should be enough.

-fists, wearing gloves should make damage with fists higher

For once, I agree, even if it is by a few points, cause I think that [scale] gauntlets should add 1 to 3 bonus in fist attack power. But, leather gloves shouldn't improve it. Dunno about mail mittens. It should also decrease the speed of punching as well.

-bring back zendar and saltmine! saltmine should actually be a saltmine, u buy a pickaxe, go mine crap, sell? or get metal go to weapon smith tell him make this for this much denars? and zendar just because i like that place

Why? Zender didn't fit in with the timeline (Neutral town that all lords ignored? If that really existed during medieval times, then all the kings would send assault parties to conquer it.

-armor for ur horsey? make buyable armor for horses and horse merchant because its realistic

Chargers and warhorses. One mod has a bunch of warhorses. Also, they don't cost a lot. You just don't have very much denars .

-double sided spears, why cant i use the other side?

It would be...unwieldy. I don't know why it's even in the game. It's pretty useful at the right times in a pinch, though.

-blunt damage with swords, why cant i use the flat side or turn it so its like a flat thing or hitting people with the handle like if u were pistol whipping some one

Hm. Agree. Would help in capturing enemies, like the quest where you have to capture an enemy spy and his spy master (or whatever)

-training with ur own soldiers in camp mode!

The training grounds are there for that. It helps for training low-quality soldiers.

-more crap to do with ur castles and towns

Please explain what crap you can think of. Saying that does not help in thinking up ideas. Think them up yourself.

-guards who do somthing when u take out a sword and try to hit some one in towns, its kinda stupid when u shoot arrows at everything and try to hit the guards in towns and they just stand there. they should do their job >:L

Lol. You can't hit anyone in towns, only in castles. Maybe some random mugger comes out, and the guards go after him/her? Or YOU can pickpocket someone to steal some denars? Just some ideas.

-house? store ur stuff, spend time doing things like making weapons, quicker healing, idk..

Free inns? The inns costs are meagre as it is. Just rest there.

-shouldnt just hitting people make u stronger over time? strength never goes up by itself :L

Agree. Very slowly, though, and should go up faster when you hit a heavily armored person.

-forage, do it randomly in spots, have a chance of finding a group of bandits hiding? find some cows to get food from? find some dead bodies with gold! or find nothing or run into a trap?

That should happen in random events when you travel. At least, that's what I want. E.g. You find a guy killed by bandits, with bandits standing over him. You can fight them and get some extra denars after the battle, or ignore them and continue. There should still be a chance that they'll see you when you ignore them, and you get into a fight, or they run away, depends on your reknown/army size.

-helping towns castles and villages build should make it a whole lot faster, i hate waiting for those dumbasses to build somthing

Agree. Why does it take 25-30 days to build a watch tower? A little faster, just trading away a little realism so you don't make a new character While your waiting for one messanger post :p.

-supplying ur own army with weapons, why cant i buy crap for my own people to use D:???: wat if i want them to use certain things like spear throwing guys on horses people who use sword and shield that have like 3 shields

Armed rebalance has something like this. Check that mod out...note that it treats it as a merchant though.

-guns, me want guns

They suck, there are hundereds of mods that have guns anyway.

-more secrets

What secrets? Like the strange armor items? Elaberate.

-being able to be hired by towns villages lords or parties

For what reason? Give some reasons.

-being able to hire parties to follow u and help out in battles, maybe having 2 seperate parties is better, if u see a big group coming tell them to stay where they are and u run like hell

You can tell lords to follow you, even if they have low attention spans. (Which would also happen with the parties.) Also, this can be done in mods with patrol parties. One of the orders for them is to follow you and wait here, or go to xx town/castle, or patrol around any town, castle or village.

Done, finally.

You've also got to think about what is actually possible to code in, or don't require a complete overhaul of the game. I know that some suggestions I mentioned have the same problem also.

No one wanted to be left-handed in medieval times especially from the time this game is based off of. (My guess was around 12 something.) You were considered to be evil or satanic if you used your left hand over your right hand. I don't know the exact details, but it was not at all publicly accepted back in the day. (I posted a topic about this as well.)

Wearing gloves shouldn't make you do more damage, not like you punch harder and chain mail mittens would probably feel like getting hit with a bare hand. Not like anyone fights with their hands in Mount and Blade anyways.

Horse armor is on warhorses and I believe also on Chargers.

Back in the day soldiers had to supply themselves with weapons and armor, that's why only rich knights had horses and stuff like that. Even then the common soldiers weren't allowed to even hold a sword, at least until King Henry the fifth killed chivalry in 14 something.

Backpacks would be very strange, they probably used pack mules for that kind of stuff, only essentials would be carried into battle, sword, shield, spear, etc. Even then if you wanted something like that it would be much more common for it to be on the horse rather than a commanding officer's back.

With the guns I'll be blunt. NO would completely destroy the game for me at least.

And the last one I really disagree with, your strength wouldn't go up just because you hit someone a dozen times a battle. Not only that, I assume that if you can go through a battle in armor and swing and kill someone with a axe or sword, etc that you're already pretty strong and wouldn't get stronger for doing what has become easy to you.

The rest I kinda or fully agree with, but most of all I don't really feel like I need to argue against or refer to history for a reason why it shouldn't be in the game.

Random47

Wearing gloves shouldn't make you do more damage, not like you punch harder and chain mail mittens would probably feel like getting hit with a bare hand. Not like anyone fights with their hands in Mount and Blade anyways.

- so what if some one had no gloves and does like 2 damage, wouldnt having metal gloves hurt alot more? if u dont think thats true then try hitting urself with a ur own hand and then a something made of metal

Back in the day soldiers had to supply themselves with weapons and armor, that's why only rich knights had horses and stuff like that. Even then the common soldiers weren't allowed to even hold a sword, at least until King Henry the fifth killed chivalry in 14 something.

- but theres no way to tell them what to get, uniforms help with the people who play without the names over peoples heads

Horse armor is on warhorses and I believe also on Chargers.

- maybe i want a courser with armor? dont know if that is the right name but its that white horse

- swinging heaving things every day has to make u stronger, like if u wore ankle weights for a year u would be able to kick holes into doors

Backpacks would be very strange, they probably used pack mules for that kind of stuff, only essentials would be carried into battle, sword, shield, spear, etc. Even then if you wanted something like that it would be much more common for it to be on the horse rather than a commanding officer's back.

- this gave me another idea, why cant the horse have the box that u carry ur stuff in? like put it right behind where the guy sits. this would make ur chance of losing things really high like if ur horse ran away but still its usefull.

Childe_Rolande

About the food rotting, I'll have to agree with what's already been said. It'd get pretty annoying, I think. Plus, I'm pretty sure they had ways to preserve their food back then. Or so... I hope they did. (imagines khergits eating their horses when their blood just wouldn't do)

- gave me another idea, back then people preserve stuff with salt but who would have really salty bread cheese apples cabbage and fish? and if they did they would die from dehydration. which gave me another idea how come people cant drink ale or wine?

As for upgrading weapons, the only thing I can see being done with that would be to make "heavy" weapons "balanced"? Or rather, to fix "chipped" or "bent" weaponry, but that's it.

- chipped swords can be fixed by melting metal and putting it over it and letting it go back to solid and when i said upgrade i was thinking of using better metals to replace ur blade or get some nails into your wooden club and this gave me another idea, having spikey armor so when people attack you they have chance of getting hurt and also adding weight to ur sword? it can make damage alot higher

Wearing gloves should not make you do more damage.. at all. Unless you have some sort of medieval knuckle duster? I doubt those existed.

- read the same thing i said to Random47

Now you do have a good point about those double-sided lances. But if you think about it, you'd pretty much be using the same animation to attack with the other side, so it wouldn't seem quite necessary to me.

- switching sides after every attack is much faster but i guess it would be really hard to do it and it will turn into a martial arts kinda weapon, and this gave me another idea, double sided axes are useless if u cant use both sides

Blunt damage with swords is actually... not that bad of an idea if you want to capture prisoners. I understand using the flat side of the blade, and especially the pommel. But that'd put our clubs out of business... what would the looters say about that?

- looters suck, no skills and very weak so u know even if we had the ability to do blunth with a sword it would not affect them in any way because of how much they suck

Now this, I must say, is the best idea I've read from your post. Training with your troops in a training camp. While I love that I can take the time away to beat the living hell out of my party with a blunt weapon, leaving four of them unconscious while the rest of them watch, I think that's closer to some form of punishment then real training. Perhaps though, at least, they can include something similar where you can use ALL of your party. Maybe you can separate them into teams, then they can brutalize each other with blunt weapons. More experience that way, right?

- yay

Hitting people does make you more proficient in the weapon you're carrying!

- yea but read the same thing i said to random47

Helping the village build sounds plausible as well, because they do take pretty long to get it done.  You should try to occupy yourself with other duties as they go about the process.

- i always need to put my army some where, my build is almost all in agility so i run fast and i wear light weight armor and only use wakazashi or w/e it is so im like a ninja, other people just slow me down

Supplying your own army with weapons would kill the purpose of having troops specialized to fit a certain faction/race of people. And it'd be ridiculously costly?

- ok then it should be optional, like how u can replace one of those special guys u find in taverns

Dragon13

Beef from cattle rots. Also, the morale drop from uneatable food all of a sudden would make players turn their back.

- well then just be sure to have fresh food

Upgrading weapons? Uhh...how would that be possible during the time M&B takes place?

- read what i sad about that other guy

Or what about that masterwork war sword you finally got broke during the first attack in a battle! [sarcasm]That sounds like fun![/sarcasm]

- if it broke on the first attack its not masterwork unless it was a collectors thing but if it was u wouldnt use it and also what does this have to do with wooden sticks getting hit by axes and swords?

How can you carry 4 2-handed weapons in the first place? If this were implemented, the max items you could get from backpacks would be 4...and why would you even lug it around? You have an item pack where you spawn in the game already. That should be enough.

- good point but new idea if people can drive their car with matresses and bikes on the top of their car why cant u have a box of weapons on ur horse?

Armor ratings, buddy! As crazyeyes said.

- higher armor ratings only for arrows?

Why? Zender didn't fit in with the timeline (Neutral town that all lords ignored? If that really existed during medieval times, then all the kings would send assault parties to conquer it.

- training camps have weapons and horses, why dont lords looters and bandits raid or conquer? anyways zendar is cool

The training grounds are there for that. It helps for training low-quality soldiers.

- why do i have to train there when i can be in my own town or village practicing with my friends instead of wooden hay men?

Please explain what crap you can think of. Saying that does not help in thinking up ideas. Think them up yourself.

- having ur own caravans to make some extra money? sending out scouts to see what parties are close by?
sending out war parties or people to capture looters and stuff to sell?

Lol. You can't hit anyone in towns, only in castles. Maybe some random mugger comes out, and the guards go after him/her? Or YOU can pickpocket someone to steal some denars? Just some ideas.

- i posted the idea of stealing in towns and also killing people before, dont know what happened to it but maybe bringing it back to some new people might make a difference

Free inns? The inns costs are meagre as it is. Just rest there.

- who said anything about an inn, im talking about houses

What secrets? Like the strange armor items? Elaberate.

- hidden money, boots from the samurai set, anything that will be fun or usefull

For what reason? Give some reasons. (being able to be hired by others)

- because i want some more money for killing

You can tell lords to follow you, even if they have low attention spans. (Which would also happen with the parties.) Also, this can be done in mods with patrol parties. One of the orders for them is to follow you and wait here, or go to xx town/castle, or patrol around any town, castle or village.

- because lords are jackasses and they always say that would be hardly proper, why dont u follow me instead?

DamienZharkoff: Yes.. the fun of excavating salt from a salt mine

- damn right that is fun >:L

evilknight said:
- but theres no way to tell them what to get, uniforms help with the people who play without the names over peoples heads
Your point is? I play without the names. Armour wasn't uniformed much at the time.

- maybe i want a courser with armor? dont know if that is the right name but its that white horse
What would be the point? Coursers are probably trained for hunting and speed, not for running down enemy infantry

- this gave me another idea, why cant the horse have the box that u carry ur stuff in? like put it right behind where the guy sits. this would make ur chance of losing things really high like if ur horse ran away but still its usefull.
A baggage train idea was mentioned about half a month ago? It was a slightly more advanced suggestion however.

- gave me another idea, back then people preserve stuff with salt but who would have really salty bread cheese apples cabbage and fish? and if they did they would die from dehydration. which gave me another idea how come people cant drink ale or wine?
Ale & Wine was consumable & gave a large morale bonus in previous versions

- chipped swords can be fixed by melting metal and putting it over it and letting it go back to solid and when i said upgrade i was thinking of using better metals to replace ur blade or get some nails into your wooden club and this gave me another idea, having spikey armor so when people attack you they have chance of getting hurt and also adding weight to ur sword? it can make damage alot higher
Spiky armour isn't really that realistic and I believe won't fit in M&B

- looters suck, no skills and very weak so u know even if we had the ability to do blunth with a sword it would not affect them in any way because of how much they suck
They aren't trained troops, and have little experience.

- i always need to put my army some where, my build is almost all in agility so i run fast and i wear light weight armor and only use wakazashi or w/e it is so im like a ninja, other people just slow me down
Cavalry?

- if it broke on the first attack its not masterwork unless it was a collectors thing but if it was u wouldnt use it and also what does this have to do with wooden sticks getting hit by axes and swords?
Been suggested before, the overall verdict was no.

- good point but new idea if people can drive their car with matresses and bikes on the top of their car why cant u have a box of weapons on ur horse?
A car is made of metal and not a living object; Cars don't bolt. Horses are alive. A quiver or a sidearm could be possible.

- training camps have weapons and horses, why dont lords looters and bandits raid or conquer? anyways zendar is cool
I wonder why manhunters spawn near Zendar? Chances are that Zendar has a standing army.

- why do i have to train there when i can be in my own town or village practicing with my friends instead of wooden hay men?
You don't need to hire a medic later after you stab someone?

- having ur own caravans to make some extra money? sending out scouts to see what parties are close by?
sending out war parties or people to capture looters and stuff to sell?
In mods already.

- who said anything about an inn, im talking about houses
Waste of money effectively. You could roleplay with the manor or pretend that you staying in a barracks in a nearby town...

- hidden money, boots from the samurai set, anything that will be fun or usefull
Samurai boots are an item. Any other suggestions on this statement?

- because i want some more money for killing
An advanced mercenary system perhaps?

- because lords are jackasses and they always say that would be hardly proper, why dont u follow me instead?
They don't know you well or hate you? And asking a town owner or a king wouldn't really be that realistic unless you are a marshall or someone of similar rank....

I would like the idea of having a house, and even though mining sounds boring, and it probably would, I would still like it. In my opinion the backpack idea is quite silly. Knights running around with backpacks, a realistic scene indeed. Also, remember that you can access your inventory via the chest on the battlefield. However, your suggestion gave me an idea. Having a squire. Will elaborate soon.

Venitus summed it up.

But...

Because what you do to one thing in the coding happens to all the others. Unless, of course, you want to painstakingly change it so that all weapons have different chances to break. Not very fun...

Free inns? The inns costs are meagre as it is. Just rest there.

- who said anything about an inn, im talking about houses

Cause the houses would function as inns. Plus, you have castles in towns and halls in castles (Wow that sounded weird) which have chests you can store things in.

Why? Zender didn't fit in with the timeline (Neutral town that all lords ignored? If that really existed during medieval times, then all the kings would send assault parties to conquer it.

- training camps have weapons and horses, why dont lords looters and bandits raid or conquer? anyways zendar is cool

"Zender is cewl1!!!11oneoneeleven" Is not reason to put it back in Native. Training camps...well, there's really no real point in conquering them. But...the lords loot villages. You make a good point about the bandits, though.

Erm...cause if your horse rears the stuff gets thrown off, unless you carry everything in one hand with a one handed sword...Plus, horses are actually animals...unlike cars. Venitius pretty much got it right.

The training grounds are there for that. It helps for training low-quality soldiers.

- why do i have to train there when i can be in my own town or village practicing with my friends instead of wooden hay men?

Well, I never objected to it. Maybe let your troops fight in the arena with the weapon they would normally use? (e.x. Rhodok sergeant might use a practice staff or sword. Rhodok sharpshooter will use practice crossbow, vaegir archers will use bows and arrows, ect...or just let them use their normal equipment. Just KO and no killing.

For what reason? Give some reasons. (being able to be hired by others)

- because i want some more money for killing

It's easy enough to get already. Maybe some unique items? Or regular items, and then you can get better items, and for the tougher ones (or the toughest) you get a special item.

OK, I'm done.

You're basically making a big long list of the things you personally want to have in the game. Please, at least try to elaborate and give some points to your "suggestions".

When you're talking about more secrets, do more crap with your castle and towns, you should elaborate on it. Even worse, you asked a question about "why can't I use the other side" about double-sided-spears, is that a question that belongs in the Apprentices? Or is it a suggestion about the removal of that item and/or implementing animation change?

so what if some one had no gloves and does like 2 damage, wouldnt having metal gloves hurt alot more? if u dont think thats true then try hitting urself with a ur own hand and then a something made of metal

- No, not really. I just tested it.

but theres no way to tell them what to get, uniforms help with the people who play without the names over peoples heads

- I thought the common soldiers had your coat of arms on their shields to help identify which army they belong to.

maybe i want a courser with armor? dont know if that is the right name but its that white horse

- That horse is build for speed, putting armor on it would make it a warhorse and thus destroy the speed that the horse normally has.

swinging heaving things every day has to make u stronger, like if u wore ankle weights for a year u would be able to kick holes into doors

- Yes, but you're not swinging the sword every waking moment of an entire year.

this gave me another idea, why cant the horse have the box that u carry ur stuff in? like put it right behind where the guy sits. this would make ur chance of losing things really high like if ur horse ran away but still its usefull.

- I like that idea sounds convenient and plausible for that time period

No it isnt, no warhorse carried your ****. They were for war. you used the sway backed or lamed unuseable horses to pull your ****, not your horse meant for battle.

Random47

so what if some one had no gloves and does like 2 damage, wouldnt having metal gloves hurt alot more? if u dont think thats true then try hitting urself with a ur own hand and then a something made of metal

u know it would hurt more...

light armor?

Dragon13

Erm...cause if your horse rears the stuff gets thrown off, unless you carry everything in one hand with a one handed sword...Plus, horses are actually animals...unlike cars. Venitius pretty much got it right.

strap onto the horse like u would to a donkey

Venitius

Spiky armour isn't really that realistic and I believe won't fit in M&B

-if ur poor u do anything to survive

why do i have to train there when i can be in my own town or village practicing with my friends instead of wooden hay men?

You don't need to hire a medic later after you stab someone?

-we can use blunt weapons?

hidden money, boots from the samurai set, anything that will be fun or usefull

Samurai boots are an item. Any other suggestions on this statement?

-samurai boots is a secret item so it makes it a SECRET

- because lords are jackasses and they always say that would be hardly proper, why dont u follow me instead?

They don't know you well or hate you? And asking a town owner or a king wouldn't really be that realistic unless you are a marshall or someone of similar rank....

- ur replying on replies to other replies but anyways, being able to get parties to follow like a group of guys from a town that u paid or somthing is realistic

Sorry, to be blunt I've gotten tired of reading the whole thing. Maybe when I have more time or... a sudden increase in patience. Not all these ideas are terrible it's just one that made me ....  Spiky armor? And then you say, "when you're poor you do anything to survive" ??? How would a poor person even afford armor? Spiky armor isn't necessary, or very well thought out in my opinion. The enemy doesn't grab you or punch you with their fists in mount&blade very often as far as I can see. It'd be heavier, and a waste of your denars trying to find a armourer willing to build spikes into plate armor.

Edit: The patience has come, I'll follow these up.

so what if some one had no gloves and does like 2 damage, wouldnt having metal gloves hurt alot more? if u dont think thats true then try hitting urself with a ur own hand and then a something made of metal

- No, not really. I just tested it.

u know it would hurt more...

-- this just made me laugh. In a medieval combat scenario would you really want to be trying to punch someone armed with a glaive with your simple metal-gloved hand? Or are you saying when you're in a scenario in which, for some odd reason, you're armed with your metal gloves while your enemies are attempting to fight you with their fists? Did you piss off a tavern keeper?

maybe i want a courser with armor? dont know if that is the right name but its that white horse

- That horse is build for speed, putting armor on it would make it a warhorse and thus destroy the speed that the horse normally has.

light armor?

-- Buy a hunter. They're tough beasts, I say.

- good point but new idea if people can drive their car with matresses and bikes on the top of their car why cant u have a box of weapons on ur horse?

Erm...cause if your horse rears the stuff gets thrown off, unless you carry everything in one hand with a one handed sword...Plus, horses are actually animals...unlike cars. Venitius pretty much got it right.

strap onto the horse like u would to a donkey

-- Thusly, we have a donkey, and not a horse.

Actually, knights and footmen sometimes wore horned, or spiked cod pieces to prevent a kick in the balls AND injure an enemy. But thats about all I can think of for spikey armor >.<

wachaaaa! thread comes back to life. anyways spikey armor for your forearms can be useful in a fist fight or maybe for ur horse so when u run into people they get dont just get blunt damage ?
