I don't know whether to laugh or cry!
I don't know if it was explained in the video, but does anyone know why they were driving along the beach in a convoy of golf carts and trucks? Is it purely a compulsion to perpetuate a (rubbish) tradition, or if not, what is the appeal? It must be tedious to live nearby. You have this lovely long beach, and along comes a parade of relentlessly noisy people (even when talking to a reporter feet away) pretending to be pornstars and driving their incongruous vehicles on the sand.
I don't want to seem mean about their weight or poke fun, but it is striking that so many of them are considerably obese, or just generally...big. It is scary and depressing how the typical member of the human race, particularly in the western world, is becoming this inflated figure. Much like the cars! So many people are very fat, and of those that aren't so much fat, they are just unpleasantly bulky.
By the way, I don't want to sound sneering about the US- I know Europe is not far behind in the obesity stakes and of course the UK has more than its fair share of mildly depressing, ridiculous people. But this particular beach driving brand of US oddity is new to me.
