Raising relations with a faction

Ok, first off, yes, I'm playing with a mod (blood and steel) and yes I've asked on their boards and nobody has been able to answer.  My guy started working for the Veagris as a merc and then started to woo one of the Lords daughters.  He was fighting in the wars, getting respect from the other lords and the King and then was given the chance to become the Kings vassel.  I jumped at the chance and BOOM! my relations with the faction dropped to -40 and then raised back to -23.  So now, I'm vassel of the King and in the service of Veagris but yet everyone hates me and attacks me on sight.  Weird enough is that I still get invites to go the feasts (but I can't because even when I fight my way in, the castle is closed to me). 

So... simple question is, like the title, how do I go about getting my relations with the Veagris back up?  I don't care if it's long and arduas normal ways or if its a quick and dirty cheat.  This has pretty much ruined what was an otherwise fine game run and I really don't want to have to start over because of this.

I believe you can find an enemy lord (who is not trying to attack you) and pay him money to reset your faction relation to 0. Otherwise, you're stuck with freeing any Vaegir lords in prison as this will also increase your faction relations.

What happened to you sounds like a major bug. You could always cheat to set it right.

Yeah find a castle with a lord inside that doesn't have way more men then you do, otherwise he might attack you, and then just go in, ask to see the lord and talk to him. You will get the option to make peace with the faction for a price. You marry the Vaegirs woman and then cut ties and exterminate these trash =)

I'll keep my hopes up that one of the lords will get captured then  LOL  Freeing them is always easy, I've tried to make peace by talking to the lords, but it isn't an option.  What are the requirements for that? 

There's a cheat to raise relations with a faction?  I couldn't find one, all google searches give me guides to starting my own faction, oddly enough.

EDIT:  And now it seems that I was granted the latest conquest, a former Nord City.... but I can't even enter it because of the -23 with the Veagris........  Anyone, please?
