Rain

Saw rain for the first time...looked a little wierd in FPV. Seemed as if it was only on my character instead of the entire region because the drops looked so close and there were none in the distance.

Aside from that, does rain affect movement, attack speed, or ranged accuracy?

I think that heavy rain should soak those in clothes, fur, orleather, slowing them down.

Yep, as the ingame hints say heavy rain slows down units.

Here are the actuall hints :

hint_1|Crossbows are less effective in rainy weather.
hint_2|Horses and men move slower in rainy weather.
