He never said he felt like being a toxic racist. He simply said the views of the toxic racists are laughable and like myself, I am unphased because their views aren't worth acknowledging.
I took it as if you think that racist behaviour is justified because of TW's actions.

I'm British and just expect better from people online and think that people who ruin the atmosphere of a game should be punished for it. We play games to entertain ourselves, not to deal with salty ****s who wanna be edgy. I can ignore it, or you can ignore people trying to do something about it.

Why do you care so much then ? Do you know how cancerous it is in chat in other games with multiple Europeans and extra-European people ? Like, getting insulted by Spanish (or insult them, cause everyone knows than spanish speakers are bad at video games in general), Russian, Germans, we cancerous French bastards are ****ing cancerous too. And i don't mind, it's part of the game and i actually enjoy that.
No, i just tolerate people's views. i tend to hate American people, as much as they hate European people most of the time. But i don't mind. Everyone has it's values and point of view. I don't cry cause i see some say the <snip> word nonetheless. I just don't care, most of the time makes me laugh. Doesn't mean that i share the other people's views and opinions. Just. don't.care.about.it. Period.

Just as said before. Other games being trash don't mean Bannerlord has to be.
I am french and I don't consider being toxic, most french players aren't, hell, most players aren't (what you say about spanish speakers is just plain dumb).
If you enjoy that, i'm not surprised that you don't see the problem. You are part of it. And that doesn't make you cool or mature, it's just pityful.
Calling someone a <snip> or other racist nonsense isn't a "view" or an "opinion". But then again, you tend "to hate american people" (wtf ?). You are part of the problem. Grow up.

YOu haven't played a lot of competitive games to say that French players aren't toxics. It's like everywhere, people are toxic. That's all.
And yes, Spanish speaking people tend to be bad at video-games. I'm not actually in France, and i've had the occasion to ask around about it, and people do agree with it. It's just a fact.
I'm not saying i'm enjoying it. I'd rather have a chat full of people giving tactical feedback on the game (like in siege where people try to warn about the situation, like "Push tower, use whatever siege engine, protect ram etc). It's just that this kind of chat doesn't bother me. I just read it, even if i don't participate in it.
And yes i tend to hate American people, cause every time it ends up being "America is the best, you other European people are <snip>". That's why i hate them. They tend to love themselves, the way America treats the world, the war they conducted etc. It's just political at this point. I'm not hating American people for being american. I hate them for loving what their country is doing to the world. Strictly political and Economical. Nothing personnal.
And yes, calling someone a <snip> is a political view and an opinion, sometimes. I get that some people are ****ing edgy lords and do this for the LOL, but i can't understand that at all. Can't protect people for being idiots at this point. But i don't mind them saying such things.

The best options you got right now is to ignore chat. Should be an option to disable it. But reporting people for their language is pure nonsense.
Wait till custom servers, it's ll be the best things that might happen to have a nice and peaceful playground for us to enjoy with good people.
Warband was great for that. There were some siege servers with extra funny people, and chat was respectful and all. We just have to wait for that i guess. In the mean time, stop being an inquisitor and just enjoy the game. You should focus more on the game than the chat at this point.

I'm not hating American people. I just tend the hate the most hardcore ones that don't see the flaws in their political and economical systems. People that likes the Bombing on Japan for example. That kind of people. Or when i play Rising Storm Vietnam, those who likes the fact they they waged war on them. The plain dumb people. Strictly political again.
But as you say, i had great Spanish; English and German friends back in the days on Warband even if we laughed at our differences and whatnot, but we had the best of times besieging Helm's Deep and other Custom siege map on a particular server (can't remember the name).
Laughing at some things doesn't mean that we can't get friends either. It's just like in RL. You have friends with different point of views and opinion, doesn't mean you hate them for it, they can be great people in their own particular ways.
But it's always like that. Official servers are cancerous. Hosted servers are the best and tend to have better communities and have the good habit of keeping cancerous and edgy boys away for the good experience of the rest of the player base. As it is in every games, most of.
