I am Turkish but I am deist. If you were me, would you mate with a deist white woman or a Muslim Saudi woman and please tell me why?

I mean, it was probably about time to close the old religion thread and start a new one, no?

Whites and Saudi's are both Turkish, so your children would be at risk for genetic disorders. You should marry a Space-Chinese instead, even though they're all atheist.

Nah, that one's still got 400 more pages to go.

There is no way to know one other person's religion, you can only know what other people claim to be, therefor it doesn't make any sense to look for religions in relationship.

If both are hot, go or both.

I think there was a state-sponsored endeavor aimed to determine it on an objective basis.

There is no  way to know what other people claim to be, you can only know that you're undergoing certain auditory/visual experiences.

Also something I often think about: Deism is extremely rare among professional philosophers and nost of them are atheists but deism seems to be almost as common as atheism among global population.

I think you should provide some form of proof for the claim "Deism is extremely rare among professional philosophers", as it does not make sense. My philosophy professor produced an argument for why god exists, which you might find interesting. http://www.gjerutten.nl/AModalEpistemicArgumentForTheExistenceOfGod_3_ERutten.pdf

Less than 5% pick other/'accept another alternative' in theism vs atheism question. Overwhelming majority are eother theist or atheist.

So I'm a bit confused now, because to me it seems that you make the distinction deism/theism for philosophers (11.6% accept theism in that poll) yet don't make that distinction for the global population. I find it hard to believe that there are as many deists as there are atheists, nor can I find an article that addresses that.

Quite frankly, the distinction is silly to make in such a semantical way as many who identify themselves as theists might just be deists.

I make the distinction for global population as well. I concede that I don't have hard evidence on how many deists are there, it's just my perxeption that there seem to be quite a lot of deists.
And of course the distinction is quite important. Rejecting all religions as false or accepting one as true is a huge thing.
