Why we couldnt see any rainy season or rainy day or maybe storm. In multiplayer mod, i saw that one ruined castle in rainy day, i think it must be in normal game. By the way, escacially in winter season almost half of the map is covered with snow. Please decrease the snowy part and bring some rainy days.

rain = lots of particles = lots of lag

Weather effects would be totally awesome to see in Bannerlord and add alot of atmosphere to the battles, rain, fog/mist and snow, hell even dust storms for the desert regions would add tonnes of ambience and i would love to have them.

Whether (pun intended) they are planned to be implemented though, i have no idea.

I would like to see blizzard and rain too but it would definitely lag low end PCs. Not just low ends but some high ends too. I once got 40 FPS in a siege of 1000 men on my godtier PC. So imagine that with blizzard or rain on low ends. The game isn't really optimised so maybe in the future

There are plenty of areas that have snow falling, why not rain?
Because to make a particle rain effect you need far more particles with higher speed than snow. I think you can understand that performance is a big issue in the game with 1000 units on the field. Gotta make some sacrifices.

I take your point but its 2020 dude, weather effects have been a thing for decades now and the sacrifice i would make in this case would be not to have 1000 troops maybe, say 800 and having weather effects.

i would rather have 200 more, never liked if games forced the rain on you.. Especially games that perform bad aswell...

Rain doesn't have any more particles than the snow would have. You do know there are many different ways to simulate weather right? Even methods that don't actually use extensive amounts of particle effects.

I'd like to see rain as well.

Base fog effect and you wouldnt need that many particles to create a rain effect. Arma 3 has heavy rain and doesnt lag down system much at all
