Quite unusual peace proposal

So, I've been away from Warband for like 1 year... I'm using the latest Warband (v1.153) and Diplomacy (v4.2) until the date. I've captured a nord castle, and began my own Kingdom (a little too soon so it was pretty tough).

And 1 or 2 days later, the nords sent me a peace proposal! 

I mean, I know they are already at war with the Vaegirs and Swadia, but I would like to know if it's an acceptable and bug-free behavior, because as far as I can remember 1 year ago they would NEVER make peace with me because of the land taken from them. Something like "you began your Kingdom by taking our lands so now we'll be forever at war"

Yup, that is perfectly normal.  The AI will seek peace with someone whenever it is fighting three or more opponents.  It knows its getting overwhelmed, so it's seeking to limit its conflicts.

Don't worry: As soon as it resolves its wars with those other two factions, it'll get back to beating you up. 

And if you're really lucky, the AI won't even wait until both of the other conflicts are settled.
