Hey hey hey guys!

I'm just trying to get UDL up and running on 0.960 but I've come accross a coupe of problems...

Firstly, for some reason the module system refuses to write out quick_strings.txt and uses_tags.txt. Copying quick strings from native gets the game to run but it's obviously not ideal!

Secondly, in the face generator some face and hair textures seem to be missing for the standard meshes.

Has there been any disccusion about this already? (couldn't find any)

Has anyone else found this problem when porting from 903 upto 960?

Oh and for some reason, I haven't edited module_menu.py yet, but cheat mode seems to be perminately switched on regardless of game config...

Cheers all :smile:

Never mind...

I removed the old M&B dir and reinstalled and presto! All problems were solved... strange huh?

question:

Secondly, in the face generator some face and hair textures seem to be missing for the standard meshes.

did that happen after you turned
插入代码块:
limit_hair_colors = 1
into
插入代码块:
limit_hair_colors = 0
?

as I'm having that problem. It also only seems to occur for the companion characters.

Hmmm no, the problem was present regardless of the state of this flag.

After a bit more fishing I found the problem was caused by modules_skin.py - they have changed the way this file works in order to use the age slider (variable hair colours)

If your using custom skin textures for the face, make sure that diffuse 2 is set to a texture (either the same or one you want to blend against)

For hair, make sure that your texture and hue declerations match the following:

插入代码块:
("manface_zombie",0xffcaffc0,["hair_blonde"],[0xffffffff, 0xffb04717, 0xff502a19, 0xff19100c]),

manface_zombie is the skin texture

the next hex is body hue

["hair_blonde"] is the hair texture (make sure this texture is the first listed in the hair texture declarations for the race)

The next Hex's are hair hue - the hair colour slider will blend between these values and then he age slider changes these again to match the age.

Once this is done (assuming you've ported with existing face keys) you will need to regenerate your face keys using the in game editor...

Hope that helps!

Would be nice if the module systems documentation reflected this change however :razz:
