quick suggestions for me

AMD Phenom(tm) II X6 1090T Processor (6 CPUs), ~3.2GHz
8192MB RAM
DirectX 11
ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series(it is actually a 6770)
Display Memory: 750 MB
Dedicated Memory: 1010 MB
1600 x 900

I wish to run this game on max battle size limit maybe even more than that. What graphic settings should I play on?? Thnkx

That would run the game max graphics and 500 per side battle size mod without even blinking.

Are you sure? my friend has a similar setup and when he looks at hundreds of troops his FPS go down to like 20s maybe 10s.  Thanks for the replies

If your friend is having trouble with a similar spec then he likely has a software problem, virus perhaps or spyware influenced. A full reformat and OS reinstall might be a good idea for him/her.

ADDON: let me put it into perspective for you.

I run a 2.66 Dual Core with 2GB of RAM. My Video card is an ATI 5870 (My OS is Both XP and & 7 as my PC is dual boot) and I can run the game maxed out with 500 units per side.

A full reformat and OS reinstall? I might do that for myself if it does increase performance. You know what the risks and\or downsides are of doing this?

I have an AMD Quad Core with 4GB of RAM, video card is GTX 460 with 768MB. I can't get beyond 500 units in total without considerable lag, and that has been the case since I first got this computer, so no chance of any virus/spyware/software problems. There have been a few threads like this before where players have a very powerful system on paper yet it can't run the game as well as more basic setups. Other games have this issue too, like Civ 5. My old PC ran Warband almost as well as my current one, except I rarely had CTDs on my old comp. I was expecting a huge boost in performance with my new machine but it was a disappointment.
