Quick ship question..

First off, I searched and didn't find anything.

Now, I just got this mod, and bought a ship, and I was afraid to go back on-land without first knowing.. If I go into a port city with my ship, can I return later and sail it back out, or do I need to buy a new ship?

The ships get left on the beach when you go ashore.  You can go back and board them any time.
