quick question

when I have an army of like say 60 people and I battle some bandits, why are there only 24 of my soldiers on the battle field? (They're not wounded)

How many bandits?  The reason is the way Mount and Blade handles battles.  There is a total limit of how many soldiers can be on the "screen" at one time.  It is adjustable through the menus in the game but only up to I think 150 total troops.  There is a tweak or mod that will allow you to do allot more look on the repository.  It also can be adjusted slightly by having points in Tactics which will allow you to have more troops and less enemy troops on the "screen" to begin the battle.  Hope this helps

If you want to increase the number of participants in your battles beyond 150, you can use the Battle Sizer tool. Be advised though, as the game might crash if you set the number too high.

Yes, BattleSizer I think 120 is  normal ti high may be crash
they lie of version sizer say 1.112 but that in not neccesary
